An absolutely amazing experience! Actually we wanted to go in another restaurant for our dinner and unfortunately our expected one had already been closed. We found that Jolin's was open. And it actually turned out from much better one! We were nicely welcomed with beautiful smile. Great menu with a huge diversified range. The service was pretty quick, compared with other restaurants in that area. The foods were delicious and fresh. They served a good amount that we couldn’t finish it all and we didn’t want to leave the left overs so the take away containers led us to a nice solution! The restaurant was clean as well as the toilets. It was a nice experience for us and we will definitely go there again :)
One of the popular Chinese restaurants in Christchurch. I had tried their food in pot lucks where friends got their takeaways. Tasted nice. This time I was more tempted to try a noodle soup flavour that is a bit hard to find: sour and spicy fish. The taste is good and the portion size is quite to my liking as well. I do hope the soup base could be clearer and less greasy. But overall a happy dining experience. There seems to be a cooked BBQ meat vending place at the back of the restaurant and looks pretty popular. Might be something to try next time.
Good place for authentic Chinese dishes. They also provide nice Cantonese BBQ takeaway, and these usually go quite fast so remember not to arrive too late(before dinner time) if you want them. Their style is Cantonese food so most of the dishes are not spicy.
Really Nice Food！ I am Chinese and I love the flavor here, the raw material are all fresh and the flavor, the customer service deserve 5 star, everytime I came here just feel like home. Today, there is a rude customer rushed in and yelled at the receptionist to say the food is not good, but the take away container and the food is not what the restaurant proved , me and my friends are sure that the rude person mistook something. And that’s the reason I write the comment here. The owner tried to explained but the person refused to even give her a second😔. But anyway I ll always recommend friends having dinner here.
I love the salt egg fried king prawns with chips and the sweet and sour chicken. I eat it every time I go there. Nice place and yummy food

I could not speak higher of this place. They are the best possible place for a meal especially for a byo. They endured a very rowdy byo while also were very accommodating of the rest of the clientele. Could not recommend this Chinese establishment higher
Really great Chinese food. The sweet and sour pork was really crispy and delicious and the fried combination noodles were great too and also had prawns which was a bonus. Like others where we intended to go wasn’t open and I didn’t have high hopes but yeah definitely a new fav place 😀

The service was great. Such a good energy. Food was amazing everything looked and tasted great! Very decent portions too. Everyone ate till we were stuffed and still took some home with us. Definitely recommend this place. Value for money without a doubt.

Impressed by their service, food quality and quantity. The owner was extremely friendly and responded promptly. The fish fillet was absolutely amazing! They used cod fillet which gave the dish freshness and the soup base tasted delicious. The cold dish of spicy beef strips was served quickly with high quality. Highly recommend.
Was not intended to go to this place, the place we wanted to go to was closed. Was a bit dubious at first as we went in through what looks like the back door of the restaurant. We were not disappointed and were pleasantly surprised. The menu is massive with over 200 dishes but the 3 dishes that we got, they made them perfectly. Big portions for the great piece.

22 June 2022 - I'm not cooking tonight and decided to eat out (to spoil myself 😆) since I cooked most of the time.
I chose this eatery because my kiddo wanted to eat preserved egg and pork congee and I want to try their combination veggie and chicken in chilli pot (麻辣香锅). I wanted to try this restaurant for some time as well, due to the good reviews on Google Maps.
Both dishes are highly recommended 👍.
You can ask for extra spicy 🌶 if you want. They can also replace it with other protein (e.g. Lamb, beef or seafood) if you request it.
So delicious 😋. Authentic taste. Will definitely go back to eat the chilli pot again.
Overall, it was a good experience from this Chinese restaurant.
