Great food on our wedding day and great place for pictures which is hidden on the busy street of papanui.
Had dinner and breakfast here. The service was excellent, enjoyed their salmon. The buffet was good too.
Ambiance was nice and quiet, with a bit of good music on the background. Food service was excellent and the waiter made our dining experience wonderful making sure we are well accommodated. Food delivery took a bit of time but I'll live with it. Recommended.

Had an amazing meal with my husband the service was fantastic would highly recommend to everyone to go there for a meal. The scallop starter was amazing and the Angus steak was cooked to perfection. Also a must to try the pims cocktail made by the lovely barman George who also recommended our love

We were the only guests tonight. And that's only thanks to Covid and no tourists in town. We had a great waiter, Tony. And the food was spot on. Presented really beautifully and tasted amazing! Had dinner there on a Sunday night. Great service from the waiter/bartender who was looking after the place (thanks George!) He recommended several dishes and they were all great and came out quite quickly Didn’t have space for dessert at the end!
A thoroughly enjoyable evening with a table set by a cosy fire. Attractive Tudor-style interior, with delicious food and excellent service.

Food superbly cooked in fact asked the waiter to pass my compliments to the chef. Premises clean and courteous and efficient table service. Price moderate.what more could one ask.
