One of the best in Christchurch! Yummy food, loved their garlic sauce. Takes long time to prepare food, so make sure to have enough time to wait. Nice and clean inside. Only one suggestion- please change the door lock of your toilet! You can open the door from outside, not inside.
Located on the riccaton road complex near the rails. A gift number of parking available right at the door of this restaurant. We were there at 5.30pm. It was very quiet and our orders were put through very quickly. They have high chairs and staff are very friendly to children, they have some car toys for kids to take home even. The food is great love their dipping, we had whole chicken with 2 sides and lamb shish kebab meal. Portion is huge and super tasty. We will definitely be going back!
Amazing food. But a bit unorganized and short staffed. The cook needs another helper and the waitress needs training. Owners seem to not care that they struggle.

I'm a huge fan of grilled food. First time I visited this shop and I took half grilled chicken to takeaway. The flavours were very authentic with the authentic style of cooking. The chicken was served with 2 side sauces with yummy flavours and the service was kind and polite.

I really want to like this place. But I have been overcharged, told they were too busy for phone orders and walked past to see them empty, and generally ignored. The food is good but oh the service....Update since simos took over, even with the same staff their service has lifted and the food is still great. They now deserve at least 4 stars :)

Definitely the best Mediterranean food in Christchurch. Really good quality food - their hummus and garlic pita bread are to die for. Love the garlic sauce and their falafels are fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes for reasonable prices and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend!
Been having my favourite lamb mine kebab with rice every time and the chef never disappoints... amazing food, brilliant service and absolutely awesome attitude... really makes me feel special whenever I’m there... thank you so much for the experiences...
I’ve had Souvlaki from other restaurants and I can assure you that you will not find a better tasting food anywhere else. I highly recommend Simo’s!
