We came 12 years ago. The cheese platter was great. Was a bit disappointed that it is just another cafe. Seems like some other management have took over this place. Atmosphere is still really good and foot is above average. Service was pretty average. We ordered a pumpkin soup of the day but it was
The best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had? Quite possibly. Fantastically light and fluffy batter with decent crunch matched with a generous portion of tartare sauce. Perfectly cooked chips and super fresh side salad. Wonderful old homestead converted to dining with helpful, friendly and accommodating st
Had our wedding here. Food and service were amazing, would highly recommend for any special day. Beautiful garden surrounded by the gardens and pond.
A must visit cafe for the authentic high tea of yesteryear, local customers turn up in period costumes. Generous amount of creams for your scones n jam. Delicious food , topped off with a pleasant walk through the established gardens.
Went with a friend for a high tea to celebrate her birthday & we had a lovely waitress called Joy. It's quite hard to find the entrance to the restuarant so recommend allowing plenty of time. Great service, beautifully presented food that was delicious.
Had a lovely high tea here this morning. Beautiful surrounds. Very busy after 11am. The high tea was both savoury and sweet, one of the best I've had. Filling as well because of the sandwich, slider, mini pie and potato ball, not just sweet stuff. Highly recommend the high tea for something a but f
Nice lunch. Interesting menu and the location was great. Excellent coffee. Would happily visit again on a nice sunny day & enjoy lunch on the terrace in a beautiful garden.
It has a lovely view of the gardens and I had a great time walking around. The place it's self is really pretty and has lots of nice details you don't see everyday.
I can't compliment them higher. They were so helpful with our booking. Treated us with pure kindness. The coffee was brilliant so much so I had two. The food delicious. Will definitely be back. The setting was magical.
We had a GrabOne voucher which offered 2 mains and 2 glasses of house wine at a much reduced rate than normal. We both chose pork belly and a side of potatoes (extra for that). It was perfect. Looked good on the plate, tasted even greater and we left very satisfied with the entire experience. Howe
Good food. Great service. Elegant surroundings
Enjoyed a fabulous High Tea and a walk around the beautiful gardens. Food was unique and delicious and the gorgeous Tea Rooms are in a wonderful historical setting. Perfect for a special occasion or elegant afternoon with the family. Staff were friendly and the online booking service was easy to
Excellent roast chicken meal.dessert of sticky date pudding not so good. Major concern was how cold it was. No heating in the middle room and found out after they had the door wide open where you go to pay. Did mention it to the staff.
Beautiful place and environment, really tranquil! Food, service and drinks are on point and large groups are well catered for here. There is a place for dogs to be kept which has a water bowl for them. Really neat place!
WOW, the food here is fantastic. We had the belly pork and the beef ribs, so good. All we could hear around the restaurant were comments complementing the food. Definitely coming back very soon 😀
What a great spot! Lovely food friendly staff and the surrounding area is amazing. Loved it.
