Well worth the combo ticket value. There is a nice small 3D ride on top, in addition to the gondola. Gift shop price is decent and food is great. Seafood platter is delicious and good value 😋
Great views over Christchurch and southern alps on a clear day and quite a good selection of food for a Cafe. Have been there during school hols and cruise ship dats and it can be extremely busy here with difficulty getting a table before about 1.30...

Great Cafe on top of Gondola with stunning view. There's a good amount of choices of food from Menu and cabinet. Highly recommend this delicious Seafood Platter which includes prawn twisters, mussles, hoki fish, squid, chips, and salad. It's 20 dollars and of good portion size for 2 people. Nice flu
It was cold and windy when we got to the top so eating a delicious hot meal inside a nice warm room offering panoramic views felt like cheating.

I went up there today because I was bored, I bought a annual pass and loved it. The cafe is nice and I stuffed my face with a burger and chips. I will be going weekly for a lunch visit, only work around the corner, and the annual pass let's you ride on the tram and gondola all year for 69. Get one.
Great experience and nice memories. We took a coffee break and enjoyed the views of the hills. Sandwich, coffee, tea and cold drinks are available here. The coffee was good and the sweet on the side was delicious. I recommend.
I went to first in morning but cafe is very busy. Cafe is very clean and stuff are tidying up very well. With covid I was so comfortable with cafe. Of course cafe and food were great.

Coffeehouse with awesome 360 degree view. The usual coffee offerings with a selection of pastries and other food choices like light lunch fares and lots of ice cream chioces. The view is the star here, food comes a distant second.
My mum said the Red Velvet cake was surprisingly good whilst my moro cheesecake hit the spot without being overly sweet.
