Food was delicious. Coffee might be best in Bishopdale, as it says on their notice, but certainly not up there with the best in Christchurch.
Prices have gone up since I've started visiting, but i enjoyed the tea and pie i brought.

Lovely cozy Cafe with great service. Was near the end of the day, but still a great happy atmosphere in this cafe.
I had the best mince and cheese pie I've ever had, and one of the better tan squares. The pie had so much of both fillings, mince was tasty and just the slightest hint of pepper, delicious thick layer of hot, tasty melted cheese, crisp pastry. Prices were very good, service was quick, coffee was good. They advertise that everything is cooked on the premises, and the things I bought were well worth the price.

Excellent Bakery and Coffee Shop. Lovely owner who is very helpful and likes to make sure you get what you are wanting. Lovely home made baking - savouries, pies and cakes. Great sandwiches too and they also sell hot chips. Nice atmosphere and lovely clean premises. Highly Recommended.

Don't judge this place by it's decor! The coffee and scones are really, really good!! The staff are very lovely too.
