Honestly the most phenomenal place I've found in Chch... The staff are incredible, so attentive and thoughtful, the food, tea and coffee are all amazing (I know this because I was there, getting art done for 5-6 hours and I managed to sample quite a lot!) I can't say enough good things!
Found this gem of an establishment by chance on Saturday through my Entertainment book & we stopped in for a coffee & a yummy roulade. Your staff were so lovely, the coffee was great & roulades very tasty. I will be back for sure & will most certainly recommend to all. I also loved the gift shop nextdoor!
We have discovered this gem and are making it a regular. My partner loves a good coffee and can be disappointed a lot....not here though. He raves about the coffee. A coffee, Scone/Muffin and a sweet treat is just what you need some weekend days but then you have so many options of hot yummy food choices from the menu also. Today we discovered they are open at night.....we will be trying this with friends for sure. Staff friendly and helpful, food amazing, venue spotless and fun and so close to Casual and Country....whats not to love....its our new regular.

We call in here every weekend, either before or after our grocery shopping. We sit at the bars and enjoy wonderful coffee and a nibble. We have never had a bad visit. The staff are fantastic. We have been here for lunch with family and it is lovely. It's just such a lovely place to "sit". Can't fault it, recommend it for sure.
The table service was excellent, music uplifting, my calamari meal was divine, an ambient atmosphere.

Had brunch here today with a friend. Best vanilla chai latte I've had anywhere! We had avocado Eggs Benedict and Poached Eggs with smoked salmon - all of it was fantastic. We'll definitely be returning here for more!
We had breakfast here this morning and i cant speak highly enough of it. Great service, excellent coffee, amazing food!! Not very often i cant fault anything, but our experience was A++. Will definitely be back soon!

I gave 2 stars for atmosphere.. PLEASE, can management change the music they play here. It really ruins the beautiful cafe you have set up. Hearing pop/top 20 tunes does not fit one bit. Some instrumental beats or down tempo would be so much better!!!
I feel happy after having lunch here, fantastic food, my style. This is a convenient location, with parking in the back. It is quite busy many customers here, the decor and space are comfortable. They have seats outside and inside. They gave us free mineral water a plus point, Cleaned toilet more points.
I will be back.
Rebecca was amazing! Excellent customer service by her, fully attentive to everyone's needs. The smashed avocado meal wasn't worth $22. The coffee was great! The fire was cranking, lovely atmosphere for a busy Mother's Day ❤️
I'm an idiot for telling you all as it might make it more crowded, but this place is a freaking gem. Super fast wifi, comfortable furniture, "the coffee is great" and free chilled water and fizzy water. Yeah it might even be the best in Chch.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch at ten27 over the weekend with my Grandmother!
My fish and chips were cooked beautifully with a big portion yet not too heavy, my partner had a tarragon chicken burger which was huuuuuge served with chips, and my Nana had a half serving of eggs bene with bacon.
The service was super fast and they also have a great selection of cabinet food for something a bit smaller! The best bit? 25% off with my Entertainment Book of course! ❤️

Cafe Ten27 is a very pleasant, well appointed and situated establishment, frequented commonly, and understandably, by locals from the nearby Eastern and South Eastern locales surrounding Ferrymead.
Parking can be contentious in the immediate area during patron peak times; although, there is extended parking access adjacent, close by, but related to other businesses. I have parked in the latter without problems for up to 90 minutes at weekends around midday and later.
Personally, I do not enjoy closely patronised dining spaces, preferentially seeking to situate myself on the periphery using the externally-connected communal space.
Structurally, this cafe’ is organised around pre-made dishes - although there is a formal menu, displayed ready to eat with little preparation required.
There are various vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on the menu, so to speak. Given I am vegetarian, I can only speak to my experiences, although numerous, with that aspect of the menu.
Everything I have chosen to date has been flavourful, well textured, well presented, and most enjoyable. I have tried the de-cafe’ but, I prefer the green tea. The regular green tea is served in a wonderfully proportioned ceramic teapot – it was wonderful.
Overall, the clientele can sometimes lean towards heavy patronage on some, winter weekend days. Even so, service levels and staff attentiveness generally remains consistent and efficient. Of course, there are days when this varies, as with most establishments.
The Ten27 environment, for me, is calm, relaxing, and very personable. Shared, larger spaces are available with multiple tables for small and larger groups; although, I cannot offer specific advice as to this aspect of the dining experience.
Pricing varies from reasonable value to, what some may perceive as, expensive. However, comparison within the immediate locale suggests that Ten27 is in fact good value, by in large.
Do note, however, my limited experience and dietary preference. Food selections on the menu suggest creative, clever and well appointed hand-made creations, produced with expertise, professionalism and a love of good, quality wholesome food.
I always enjoy eating here. Usually, I sit and read for sometime post dining, enjoying the fresh air, harmonious and tranquil setting.

This is the best cafe in chch in my opinion. Very warm friendly staff. Extremely welcoming for remote laptop workers with Power outlets and free wifi. Fab coffee and a vibrant busy atmosphere. My absolute favourite in chch.
Trouble with this place, everything is top notch and so it's usually quite busy. If you are a tradie, it is best to pre order otherwise the wait can be agonisingly long! The staff here are lovely and the carbonated water is a bonus!
Loved everything from the atmosphere which is family friendly complete with an area for pets the food was excellent and the staff and service first rate.

The sausage roll might have been 14 bucks, but it was delicious and good sized portion.
Came here for brunch- lunch. They have lots of seating options. Items in the cabinet and in the menu. A win was the sparkling and still water on tap! Love that! Lovely service. Dad had the big breakfast and I went for a salad can't remember it now but it was yummy! Would go back!

That’s my favourite breakfast place. I’ve been coming here since I opened my shop in ferrymead 6weeks ago! My all time favourite is their big breakfast and scramble eggs with chilly 🥰 Give them a try!!!
