Completely enjoyed the pork and chive handmade dumplings in a fragrant medium spice chili oil! These little beauties are the perfect hangover cure for any occasion. Great find! Will definitely be back here when in Chch
There really isn't too much to say about Aunty Dai's Dumplings, a great easy option for a quick snack of dumplings with a variety of choices. They aren't all great but few are bad, they're kinda average but sufficient enough to do the job should a dumpling craving arise.
Situated in the mall in a handy location by the one of the main entrances, you can get in and out easy enough. Not ideal for large groups as it is a small place.
Value for money is pretty good as well.
Not ideal for a date or romantic sojourn unless you are going for a cheap and potentially cramped experience.
I've never been a fan of dumplings but I enjoy them here and my partner loves them. I've tried the pork and garlic something pan fried dumplings and the pork and vegetable pan fried dumplings which are really nice
Love their dumplings or wontons, you can have them steamed/pan fried/soup. Yummy especially with their non spicy chili and soysauce♡ If any of you have bigger appetite, 12 dumplings per serving may not be enough for you. You just have to order more or something else, they serve buns too :)
We came here in the weekend for some little food to have before movie. I ordered the pork and vegetable pan fried dumpling. The dumpling is delicious and tasty with soy sauce and chilli oil. Only problem is that 12 dumplings are not enough for a guy I think.
Really loved our pan fried dumplings here! Don't let the menu fool you, they do 6 dumplings if you want a snack, not just the dozen advertised on the menu. Funny location, not a great atmosphere tucked in their with the bus depot, and it can get really busy at rush hour but it's worth the wait.
