Yummy souvlakis always so fresh and full of yummy salad meat and flavours. Excellent staff always so friendly. The place is always so clean and tidy. Best souvlakis in town. Highly recommend
Haven't had a good souvlaki in a long time and this place was brilliant. Paul was great with our kids, interacted with them and us. Was very kind and accommodating and so was Naavi. Will definitely be going back. Thank you for the great food and amazing service.

I have been waiting for Costas to open up since the earthquakes but Sabry's are just as great and their menu is soo yummy. Be good if they did bacon too though. This is the best in town now!

Best souvlaki in the city I tried many souvlaki but I love this place. I had chicken and falafel it was so tasty I can't explain it. Also the staff was really friendly and the place is very clean.
Extremely tasty, massive portion and lived that the packaging is leak proof (you'll see why when you have one). Ordered Souvlaki 🥙 and honestly best I've had in a long time. Extremely satisfied with this restaurant.
So tasty. Had a chicken and lamb Souvlaki. One of the tastiest things I've eaten in NZ. So good, in fact that I went back the next 2 days for lunch while I was in CHCH. Highly recommended, Absolutely delicious food.

Delicious Middle Eastern eats!! Ordered the vegetable salad with chicken and lamb. Perfectly seasoned meat, topped off with hummus and tzatziki yogurt. Very affordable too. They were able to accommodate us since all the other restaurants near our hotel were already closed, great customer service! Will definitely come back when I’m in the Christchurch area!!
My absolute favourite restaurant. I’ve tried many other food places but nothing compares to Sabry’s. Their meat on chips is the best. I order chicken meat on chips with sweet chilli, tzatziki sauce, and garlic mayo. It’s honestly the best and nothing else compares.

After visiting one of Christchurch's many museums, I became hungry, but with so many options in the city center area, I knew that I could easily spend an hour trying to decide. After brief deliberation, it was Sabry Souvlaki that came out on top. I had never partook in a souvlaki meal before, but after seeing the tantalizing pictures online, I knew that I was in for a treat. I ordered the large hot lamb souvlaki and it came out in vessel akin to getting an ice cream, amusing me to no end; but it also proved to be incredibly useful because it made it easier to eat with my hands, without worrying about making a mess. As for the flavor, holy cow (or lamb, in this case), it absolutely hit the spot. The meat was tender and savory, the wrap was soft, and the sauces complimented everything well (hot was not very spicy, but that might just be me). As for the restaurant, it can be a little crowded during the lunch rush, but the fact that people are wanting to eat here means that it's worth a visit. The staff was friendly and made the experience just that much better. I am now a souvlaki fan and I have Sabry to thank for it.

Just got a medium souvlaki, and medium meat on chips off ubereats, it tastes so premium and the sizing is incredible they give you so much its fantastic was so happy to open it! Delivered chips are still so crispy, meat doesn’t taste cheap at all. Tzatziki sauce is amazing. I swear by this souvlaki place from now!!
One night I was walking home down Papanui road, and then all of a sudden I smelt an exquisite scent. The smell of the meat and spices drew me in to the store. The young boy working there greeted me with a big smile and happy attitude. I looked at their extensive menu, there were so many options for food, each option making my mouth water with the thought of it alone. I finally decided on a large chicken souvlaki. My order was complete in mere minutes and the taste was perfect. It was a heavenly experience, well worth the money. Definitely the best food place in town, perhaps the entire country.

Fantastic Chicken Souvlaki takeaway. I mostly eat Asian food but this was so good. Lovely and fresh ingredients. The hot chilli sauce was awesome for me but you can have it less spicy if you prefer. I will be ordering again for sure !
Open new!! and is now the only original branch of this amazing franchise which is looked after by the owner... He makes daily fresh gourmet Egyptian sausage with a snap of spice flavour (highly recommend) the bread is fresh and tasty and if you open a nice conversation with the owner you might get suprised with some yummy Turkish delights for the kids. Also the chicken is very tasty too 👌
