Very quiet cafe tucked away where the old church was, hence the name. The Pillars outside added a nice touch. Pet friendly . Unfortunately, the 2 staff members looked like they had just come from or on the way to a funeral . The half smiles seemed forced, and they didn't look that happy to be there, which added a chill to the atmosphere . That said, the coffee was the best I have tasted yet in town.

THANK YOU FOR FILLING THE CAFE VOID THAT IS NORTH EAST CBD. Good food, coffee made with Aunt Jean's Milk and Jailbreaker Coffee. Pretty spartan furnishing but it works and its I a lovely spot right next to the river. Coffee is consistently great.

They must be spiking their coffee with cocaine; it's incredibly addictive! I find myself purchasing a cheese scone and a couple of mochas almost every day. (Please keep this secret from my wife, thank you.) All jokes aside, the quality is exceptionally impressive!

The coffee was good but the staff seemed somewhat withdrawn which dampened the atmosphere somewhat given this is a small intimate cafe. I'm happy to go back though as of course one experience isn't enough to form a conclusion.

Been going to this cafe since it opened - they do the BEST COFFEE - so consistent and yum. Amazing service by lovely people. Chocolate brownie-so good. Yum muffins! oh and the scones - the best. Colleagues from Auckland when they visit RAVE about the coffee and scones. Ethical coffee and glass bottled milk. Could write so much more but - you guys are awesome!

Nice coffee, only cabinet food available, but a few things to pick from. Wasn’t very busy when we went.
