Cafe gets really crowded when they open at 8am on weekends, so best to arrive a little early. Service is prompt and friendly and the food is good, but the coffee is even better. Lovely place to sit outside too when it’s not too cold. Ample parking available along the roads near the cafe.
Nice airy and clean cafe, coffee was absolutely delicious as was the Shakshuka! Very busy though so had taken us a few weekends to actually get a table as bookings aren't taken for groups of 2. Will definitely go back to try some of the other dishes we saw going to other tables - lots of cleaned pla
Happy to get nice coffee here. It was quite full and we had to sit outside. We were served promptly without much wait.
This is a restaurant that I go often on my day off, and I really recommend this place. The staff are kind and the boss is nicer, so I can't quit this restaurant. The food is so good
Excellent location close to Margaret Mahy Playground for those parents who want to tie in a Cafe visit with a trip to the playground. The service was really fast - we were in and out in half hour from 130-2pm on a Saturday. Husband loved the eggs benedict but felt the rosti was undercooked. My ginge
Book. That’s all I can say. It’s a very trendy cafe and always busy. The coffee was good, the menu has been kept small and very strong Korean influence. It’s nice to see they haven’t “kiwified”everything. Portions are right size our family but not for a average kiwi. 2 coffees + 3 meals -$90. Staff
4.5 overall. Coffee is good, 4/5. Food is excellent 5/5. Ambient/decor is good 4/5. Service is excellent 5/5. I had iced coffee and kimchi fried rice on omelette. Since it was very busy coffee took a while (even after the meal) but it was very nice, nothing to complain about. Kimchi fried rice was e
Decent spot. Interesting decor. Nice staff. Clean. Small but mighty menu. We had: Americano, Iced Oat Latte, Hot Oats and Eggs Benedict with Mushroom. All really good. Then we had a chocolate cream cheese brownie. This was the least good option we tried. Slightly dry with surprise raspberries. But w
Really cool 'industrial' cafe environment across from Margaret Mahy playground. Lots of nice food, bustling at 11am Monday. Lots of shared table space. Had coffees with almond milk brand I wasn't familiar with and it tasted ok - not as good as Almond Breeze milk tho. A few sunny outdoor tables stree
Lovely service, even though they were busy, and fully booked they made space for us. Recommend the French Toast, it was delicious. Sorry no photos, we couldn't wait to eat. We also had hot chips, a muffin and scone all very delicious as well. Children are welcome, I had my little moko with me.
This cafe is pretty decent menu and cool vibes as I've heard a lot. All the menu I ordered were fantastic and amazing. No wonder the best cafe 2021. Also cheese cake is beautiful. Love this place and friendly staffs. Recommend to all.
Just outstanding overall from Foods, coffee, location and the service. We are lucky to get a spot during lunch today. Normally we only go for the great coffee, but today also for for lunch the Kimchi omelette and Kimchi rice are both so good highly recommended. The food offers are truly unique so
The food is delicious and generous in portion size. Coffee was good but took ages to come (it was peak brunch time). They dont take bookings unless its for groups of 6 of more which is annoying, so if you plan on going there allow 15 -20mnts of wait time. Will definitely be back!
Looking for a cafe that serves exceptional food and coffee in Christchurch? This spot has got you covered! The dishes are a true homage to New Zealand's culinary culture and will have you feeling like a true kaiwaka (food lover). Now, the service may not be top-notch, but let's face it - trying to
A large selection of tasty brunch style dishes, many incorporating kimchi. Also a great selection of off-menu cabinet food. Decent coffee too ☕
Great location in town, yum menu with an asian inspiration which is nice. Can be rather busy and loud but overall great for a brunch with the gals!
Such vibrant Korean culture, great Korean fusion Cafe. Very busy, yet excellent services and waitresses are so fast to prepare quality food. Highly recommended.
Lovely staff, great vibes, and the use of kimchi in their menu was a lovely idea. A must visit whenever you're in Christchurch!
