One of the famous Cafe in Christchurch Central City. The food quality is very stable, you wont get disappointed every time you eat there. The price is not cheap, but hey, I always believe you pay what you get. The portion is big, and very generous compared with some other Cafes in town. I love the artworks displayed in the shop. The tram on is my favourite. Which one is yours?

Ordered eggs Benedict and it was pretty delicious. Bread was toasted perfectly, yummy hollandaise sauce, runny eggs and generous portion of mushrooms. Coffee was alittle hot when served but quite fragrant with a hint of nutty caramel I think? Service was prompt. My family enjoyed the meal :)

This looked like a perfect spot to stop, but we were slightly disappointed. As a cook myself and fussy with hygiene, I noted a couple of things that were in need of change. 1: we sat and watched as workers came in the entrance door and went behind the counter to start serving without washing their hands. 2: When wiping down the benches at the prep area, coffee machine they used the same cloth to wipe the bench as the steamer on the machine then placed it back on the bench. 3: the table we sat at was of a picnic style and had food trapped in the crevices. How long that had been there, but not a good look.

Nice cafe with good selection. Got the b+e bagel for $11, the bacon &cheese sconne for $5.50 and a small flat white for $5. All was really good, maybe coulda toasted the bagel for longer until it was crispy though.

Great spot to sit and soak up the morning sun for breakfast. Wasn't going to eat here, but glad I did the salmon benny was great and very generous with smoked salmon, eggs were perfectly cooked, well done. Service was spot on as was the coffee. I can see why it gets busy here. Good work people

Cool little cafe, excellent coffee, prompt service and really nice breakfasts with perfect poached eggs. Amazing decor with all sorts of art all over. Plenty of outdoor seating too.

My husband and I have been in Christchurch for 3 days now .. and, after having Belle’s amazing Eggs Benedict on the very first day, we’ve been back each day to have the same thing. It’s seriously the BEST Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had - and it’s my go-to brekkie, so I’ve had a lot! I found out today that the chef (Maynard) has only been here for a week. I sure hope he’s still here next time we visit this lovely city - he’s just amazing!! 😊 Cheers .. Larraine

One of the best Eggs Benedict I have tasted. I chose the mushroom option and it was so satisfying. The hot chocolate was yummy as well. Quick service and friendly staff. I stopped over in christchurch for a day (for the first time) and this was my brunch. Would definitely go again next time I'm there and recommend it to others. The tram crossed from beside it so good location for sightseeing.

I absolutely loved it here! The coffee was great and the ambiance was great and the food was really tasty. The main room had a lovely art deco vibe going on with a ton of paintings and plants. It's really eclectic and so funky. The staff were busy and still had time to chat and smile. This is the cornerstone of good service to me. Its so professional to keep a smile on your face even though you know you have a million things to do! I always found it was the best way to keep people happy and understanding about a little delay on your order. Thank you.

Possibly the perfect cafe for me. All my favourites on the menu supported by a delightful array of sweet and savoury treats in the cabinet. I had the eggs benedict a couple of times which was great. Coffee was also always very good. Staff were super lovely and I appreciated the early opening times.

What a great wee cafe, the food was great and came out fast. The bigger breakfast was lovely and the smashed Avocado on toast was amazing. Definitely recommend a visit

Good coffee and nice selection of cabinet food with some gluten free options ! I had the vegan falafel burger from the cabinet and it was really good. The space is very small but there is lots of outdoor seating

Fantastic breakfast. The staff were amazing and the cabinet food was well above what I was expecting. Portions were huge!! My one suggestion is to improve the chicken filo by making it creamier and removing the pine nuts inside. I wasn’t expecting that consistency when taking a bite. Would definitely return next time we’re in Christchurch.

Here you’ll find the best coffee, they roast their beans on site and they are divine, truly in my list of top 10 coffees ever. I must remember to zip back to purchase some before we leave Christchurch! All our meals were presented beautifully and were delicious also. The service was wonderful from all staff. The environment was very cute and comfortable. The restaurant is in a great location, right across from Margaret Mahy Playground.

Excellent coffee, which is the main reason for going. It's a roastery too, so fresh beans guaranteed. The savoury bacon and cheese scone was disappointing. Too large, and quite doughy. Plenty of butter provided.

I LOVE THE THIS PLACE Caught my attention by the design at first and find an early morning to try while I’m staying ard. Brilliant service and good menu even the pastry in the cabinet looks fabulous. Sour cream in between of the smashed avo and toast is a bit new to me but still tasty Thanks guys!
