Love the fish and chips and Chiken burger. The kumara chips also very nice and the Gurnard always fresh. Highly recommended. After take away we will drive to the Brighton pier to enjoy the meal in the car.

The crew here are amazing - always so busy! Food is so fresh and timing is excellent, never over/undercooked. And they have a few GF/DF items so I'm ALWAYS full as 😁 and very happy after a meal from here.
We were visiting New Brighton and saw the sign outside. The fish and chips are both really nice and tasty. The meat patties are predominantly potato so wasn't that wrapped in those but the hit dogs made up for this.

I got a fish a meat pattie and a half scoop of chips. The fish was fresh well cooked and delicious. The meat pattie not bad good flavor nice batter and the chips 10 out of 10

I've lived in Christchurch for 20years and this is the best fish and chips shop I have found. In my view... It's the only real fish and chips shop.
Great crumbed fish, nice crisp crumb, great meaty chunky fish, perfectly cooked chips, at a great price and cheerfully served up on time following our phoned in order.

Very consistent fish and chips. The chicken burger is not item you usually go to a fish and chips for. I highly recommend it, solid breast fillet crumbed with some sweeten bbq sauce , essentials fillings and slightly toasted bun is the highlight for me. Outstanding

Asa family we have been going here for 15+ years or so. The takeaways are always consistently good and the staff are friendly and the Crumbed cod is well worth the money. It's a good value for money tasty treat, thank you to the staff☺👍
