We had been wanting to visit this place as it had such a great reputation.
Finally got to visit as part of a cycling tour group.
Was a set menu that had heaps of options for us.
I had bluffies to start and Blue Cod as main and sticky date as desert.
Amazing presentation of the dishes that tasted amazing.
Attentive staff that where happy to help and advise on good options.
Highly recommended
Perfect place for lunch, have a variety of choices to choose from.
We bought Cajun Chicken Burger and Fish & Chips. The both were really nice. The chips was hot and flavorful. Loved it.

This is a quaint old historical post office building that has been converted to a cafe and bar. Lovely and cosy inside with a fire going. Staff were friendly, but table service was a bit slow to take our orders and bring our food out. I had the keto version of the Postie Breakie, which was lovely and very nicely presented. Coffee was good too.
Visited this place again about a year later and ate dinner there. We had the pork ribs and the venison hot pot - both were delicious. They also have a lovely outdoor beer garden area, which is great on a warm sunny day. They appeared to be under-staffed again as we had to prompt them to take our order. Great food though!
Delicious. The full cod was 3 pieces - it was filling, but definitely isn't a full cod - not shareable, and the half-cod would not have been filling enough for my hungry adult male self. Ambiance was utterly delightful, like most things in this city! Staff were very friendly and very busy. Overall, we had a great time!
Springtime in Central Otago. Blossoms everywhere, fresh snow on the hills. The Post Office had a warm log fire burning, the staff were happy and friendly, and the food and coffee were FANTASTIC
Impeccable Service, awesome food and great atmosphere. 5 stars all round. Would definitely recommend the vegetable stack, Ribeye and Steak Eggs and chips. Just a shame we didnt get photos of those dishes π Cheers team for another great night.
Very nice place. Food is sumptuous! Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Their garden seating is perfect for this warm summer.
Stumbled on the Post Office by complete accident in our efforts to locate (any) eating place in the oddly configured town of Clyde. So glad we did. Very friendly and amazing fresh whitebait fritters on the specials board today. So happy with our lunch that we overlooked the slightly slow service. Kitchen is quite a distance from the garden. Just a suggestion, but maybe take more than just one drinks order at a time?? There are apps for this!
Great place, highly recommend this place food is unreal, there home baked bread and spreads was awsome and then the steak was the clincher steak chips and fantastic salad π₯ π π
We enjoyed a lovely meal here on Christmas Eve. Staff are wonderful, happy to share their local knowledge with visitors. Interesting menu - the bento box was spectacular. Historic building decorated with pictures and objects of the period. A great evening out.
