Super friendly staff. Helpful and understanding. Chicken burger was awesome. Snapper super fresh and not drowned by batter. Was on a gourmet level at a fish n chip shop price. We came for the long weekend and having this shop for a quick feed for a family helps make us want to come back to cooks beach. All the best
The burgers and fish here are excellent!! And the staff are always welcoming and friendly when you walk in. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting some good Kiwi takeaways. :)
Generous portion sizes, the freshest of fish perfectly cooked, and friendly owners. My partner also got a cheeseburger which he said is the best he’s had in a long time, nothing over the top just your classic kiwi staple takeout. Will be making this a must-have every time we come to stay

We went there but had to wait for 45 minutes since only one person was working. She was taking orders and cooking to satisfy their customers. This may be the day they were short of staff.
Really good fush n chups and top service. Was feeding 17 and they stayed open for us and gave us a huge feed, snapper was so good. Chips were best had in a long long time!

Great big burgers & lots of filling. Very tasty but not enough fish for the amount of bread ratio. Great service & lovely chips.
I just had the best fish burger i ever ate! Devine! Beautifully cooked fish and a generous serving.. the beetroot, the pickles, the sauce, salad and bun were A++. Awesome team, super friendly and highly rated.

They were sooo busy tonight but worked hard and fast and delivered great fish & chips. Keep it up.
Had the fish burger which was really nice, as were the chips. A tad expensive and very busy, especially when it's not summer and they're the only thing open so make sure you allow for wiggle room. Waited roughly 20-25 minutes for our food on a Saturday night but you can order over the phone and they will call you when it's ready if needed
What massive, delicious burgers and tasty chips and plenty of them!!!! It would have been great to be able to phone the order through as we were driving (so online ordering got a bit tricky), but well worth ordering at the shop and waiting - not very long :). Thank you !

We went here for a quick bite as we were staying over for work. My vege burger was BLOODY amazing!!!! So tasty and loaded with good quality food and vege pattie. My hubby had a bacon and egg burger and reckons its "THE BEST BURGER" hes had in ages!!! Even the scoop of chips was generous and not oily at all. Very pleased with the food we received and would gladly go back again.
Got some dinner on holiday and couldn't fault it! Yum and fresh, excellent customer service and happy to help our large group! Definitely will be back
