Perfect Mince and Cheese Pie!! The short crust pastry filled with a delicious mince filling topped cheese and flakey pastry.
I ate a pie from this place MONTHS ago while visiting the area & i still think about it. I believe it was a vegetarian mornay pie. No Vego pie will ever hit the spot like the one i had at Coro Pies. So much so, that I’m sitting on my bed in Australia craving a pie but I can’t even be bothered to go find one, because it won’t be a veggie mornay pie from this little pie shop. Coro Pies kind of ruined pies for me in a way, because I will probably never get a chance to come back here & no pie will ever live up to that one I got in August from Coro Pies. And not to gloss over the super friendly customer service - the lady who served us was absolutely lovely. There was tables outside the shop but we chose to walk around the town eating. I definitely recommend stopping in at Coro Pies if you’re ever in the area & looking for a bite.
Delicious crust, tasty fillings. My patner and I have been on the hunt for the best pies in NZ and these pies are that. Would recommend 100%.
Stopped in for a mussel and bacon, my favourite! They didn't have mussel and bacon so I got mussel and seaweed. Omg mind blown. Best pie in NZ hands down!
Rich filed pies! We had the chicken veggie and it was filled all the way! Delicious with a coffee! Recommend getting a snack here.

Love, love, love this place. We discovered Coro pies by accident on one of our trips to Coromandel town. Since that time we HAVE to visit and take some of their amazing pies home to Auckland with us. If you're in the area you won't regret visiting them. I can't recommend any one pie because they're all delicious. Go and visit them, you won't regret it.
Didn't have the best selection of pies (we went after the rush) but what they did have was absolutely delicious!!!
Honestly the best pies I have tasted so far. The pastry is to die for, fluffy, buttery but not too oily. The fillings where very exciting! So much variety and all of them are absolutely delicious. We tried Steak and Oysters, mushrooms and Truffles, chicken and cranberry and came back for more! Would recommend to anyone!
P.s. they have great vegetarian options too!

Pure perfection. The steak and oyster pie exerts perfect balance between the flaky pastry, deep rich gravy, very tender beef (locally sourced) and all topped off with several whole local oysters. Coro Pies you rock !
Had our 1st Coro pies last night, Bacon and egg, and Spinach &Feta. Amazing flaky pastry and plenty of filling. Highly recommend these pies.
Love there pies they haven't been this good for a few years. the last good ones were when Patrick owned it. I loved the chilly bean beef back in the day. Unfortunately they don't make them yet but there steak n cheese are yumm
Did not expect to find such quality pies on our trip to Coramanel Town. We had a spinach, fetta and olive pie and it was delicious! Thick light pastry and generous , quality fillings.

Having purchased a delicious 'chicken & cranberry' pie in Coromandel I was keen on my next visit to buy a selection to take home and freeze. I have just thawed, heated and eaten the 'leek, mushroom & potato' pie which has far exceeded my expectations and merits this 5 star review.
