Best Fish and chips I’ve had in so long. Everything was great, definitely would recommend and come back again.
We arrived early around 5pm to get some fish & chips for takeaway and there was already a queue. The solo staff had to juggle ordering, payment, cooking, packing... practically everything. The fish was fresh with a catch of the day option, chips and sauce were good too. Went perfectly with sun and grass. Mom on the fryer and daughter on the till, good job girls!

This is my favourite fish and chip shop on the whole of the Coromandel Peninsula. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly & the fish is always so fresh and cooked beautifully. Their thick shakes are also a highlight of my visit - so extra thick and flavorsome. Highly recommend Coromandel Takea

Fish and chips were amazing and the best part is ‘the big portion’.
You don’t see the big portion of fish and chips in other big cities.
4 star because of the food portion and fresh fish and not 5 because the food was quite oily.
We both opted to have crumbed snapper and it's best we have had. Larger filet crumbed nicely and cooked perfectly. The young lady that was on was pleasant and helpful. I text friends to stop there before making there way to us. They weren't disappointed either.
