Fantastic restaurant with exquisite food. Service was amazing. Friendly and helpful, and genuine. We were not sure how f where to go for dinner, and we certainly landed with the absolute best outcome. We will certainly be back again and recommend to all our friends! Thanks to the great team that served us.

Vic Road Kitchen in Devonport is a culinary delight. The focaccia bread with an indulgent butter spread is a heavenly start. The service is exemplary, complemented by a cool and inviting ambiance. The fettuccini cacio e pepe is a solid choice, delivering a satisfying rendition of this classic dish. The only setback is they do not accept American Express.

Not so sure about the connection with Vic Road Wine Bar but the two go well together for a night out in Devonport. You need to go to the wine bar first as it closes 8.30pm and then move two houses further up the road and dine in Vic Road Kitchen. Atmosphere is pretty much the same as in the bar, food is excellent, service is great

We had a pleasant dining experience here. Ordered the Swordfish and the Beef sirloin plus the chips. Food was nicely presented and the greens were fresh, flavors blended really well together. The meat was cooked the way we like it. It was delicious and had generous serving. Place was neat with chill ambiance. Staff were courteous. Would definitely try the other meals on the menu once we visit Devonport again.

It’s an attractive place. With good service. The yellow belly flounder [$27] was excellent- fresh, very flavorful and a very good sized fish. It is served with charred broccolini and cockles that were also fine. It was the highlight of our meal. The bruschetta [$19] appetizer with smoked sardines, buffalo curd, radish and fennel on toast as also good. There are three of them in a serving. The green-lip mussel [$22] appetizer comes with crumbled house made chorizo, olives, tomato and capers. The chorizo and sauce were tasty but the mussels themselves were disappointing. Some of the least flavorful mussels I have ever had. We also had a side of charred Brussels sprouts [$12] in a date and chili purée. We liked the sprouts but found the sauce terribly sweet. For dessert we shared the dark chocolate and prune cake [$14]. It is served with a scoop of walnut ice cream and a bourbon syrup. The cake and ice cream were enjoyable but again the sauce was to our taste sickly sweet- very much detracting from instead of enhancing the dish.

This place was the prefect place to go for our last meal of 2019. Atmosphere is lovely, a little hot at the back of the resturant however it is an open kitchen which may have been the reason. Service was impeccable, staff awesome and food outstanding. Great sharing menu and we enjoyed tasting alot of different dishes. Great work team

Just came for a drink but had to stay once we saw the menu. Flavourful, fresh. Oysters were incredible.

I absolutely love the atmosphere and decor of this place! It has a sort of rustic vibe and is nice and cozy. The menu changes daily so it's a surprise as to what your options will be which is kind of fun. We tried a variant of bruschetta that had persimmons with it and it was delicious! Probably the best dish of the night so if it comes back definitely try it. We're then shared a pappardelle lamb ragu and a cauliflower risotto. The ragu was pretty disappointing, the sauce was too tomatoey, but also too dry. It overpowered the lamb flavour, and could have used maybe a drizzle of olive oil. The cauliflower risotto was pretty good, I loved the sultanas in it that gave a little pop of sweetness every so often. The portion sizes were quite big, we couldn't finish either of the mains. The service was good as well I would definitely try this place again!

I love eating at Vic Road Kitchen, their food is so delicious and I love their cocktails. I am biased as my family has a history of working there but I can still say it's fabulous ;)). On the expensive side so it's a good treat for a special occasion. I recommend their brussel sprouts and ceviche though try a bit of everything - it's tapas style so share with friends and whanau!

After having a few bad experiences at the Stafford wine bar we have been searching for a new wine bar and this place was awesome. The stereo typical exposed brick, soft lighting and wine bottles with hand written labels are all present but the service is both casual and warm but with a knowledge and passion for the wine . If you’re in the area you must pop in for a wine

Love this place for an after work drink. Great knowledge of all things wine and the service is always amazing. Both lovely places to site and enjoy your drink, inside or outside. A definite stop on your trip to Devonport.

A hidden gem. They don’t have a big open area on the street as its counterparts in the area. But once you walk inside, be prepared to be impressed by the decor, the food and the service.

The food was interesting but nice. The 4 of us thought they probably need to describe the dishes in plain English underneath the flowery description of the meals. While shared meals stated as coming out at different times some of the meals really need the other dishes to be with them. The fries came ladt. Staff were lovely and friendly
