No restroom on premises. Need to go out of the building. no Wifi; Burger was on a dry side. Good tea. Good staff. Salad was good, no raisins would be great.

Very quaint little vegetarian spot with a beautiful stained glass divider between the seating area/cashier and the kitchen. The ambience kind of reminds me a little of a medieval church and there was even organ music playing. The food was good for vegetarian food; one of my biggest pet peeves about veggie burgers is that the party is often just a mushy healthy tasting disk. The Potpourri Burger patties had crispy bits that were reminiscent of a smash burger (as much as a veggie burger can be). All in all, very satisfying and delicious even to a carnivore like me.

Good breakfast (I had muesli) and a nice vibe, but a little bit on the expensive side! I ordered a spiced chai tea too, thinking I would have a pot of brewed chai with milk like seen in some other review photos, but instead got a more ‘standard’ chai in a single mug - it was good but not quite what I had expected!

Back again in Dunedin 8 months later and my five star review stands, this time for lunch. (Previously) Great breakfast and great value. The food had substance, and was tasty and fresh. Pleasant setting inside or out.

I came in at 1.30pm and had a baked potato with chilli, cheese and sour cream. It was satisfying & tasty-hit the spot! The menu kind of gives me Moosewood cookbook vibes, which I love. Seating was available, but I bet that’s because I missed the earlier lunch rush. It’s a little hike from the University (15 minutes), but flat all the way. Very close to the Octagon. Very lovely staff. Highly recommended.

What a great find! Three of us came to get a quick bite before boarding the train. Location: ✦✦✦✦✦ Located right next to the Octagon in the centre of Dunedin it's just a 5 min walk from the train. Ambience:✧✦✦✦✦. Great seats next to the window and colour glazed glass right next to the kitchen as well. Table vary on size ranging from 1 person to 5-6 person wooden bench. Took one star out as the toilet is not easy accessible which might be a problem for people that have disabilities. Service: ✦✦✦✦✦ Order on the counter but the girls are extremely helpful and efficient and able accommodate different food allergy. We were a party of a omnivore, celiac (gluten free) and vegan all sitting together and they guided us for all our orders. F&B: ✦✦✦✦✦ The juices are great, the vege pie and the samosa, both vegan, were well portioned and full of flavor. Fresh salads are dished out everyday, we had a sample of coleslaw, beetroot and carrots. You can get a bowl of S,M, L. Dairy soups are also changed daily and go come early to grab their vegan date scone! Love everything a bit thank you for the amazing fast service (we sat down and only had an hr).
