Jizo Japanese Restaurant - Dunedin - Photo album

Jizo has an entire vegan menu and great service! I asked for recommendations and a wonderful human (who was also vegan) picked out some great things for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Teriyaki Tofu Balls, Vegan Karaage Entree, and Kushiage Tofu with Sesame Seeds. It was great to go solo a
This place is absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was superb. 3 people with 4 entrees and a main each and a drink each cost under $130. We were so full and satisfied. Next time we are back in Dunedin we will definitely be coming back.
Came here on a friend’s recommendation and did not regret it. Amazing vibe inside, wide selection for every diner, and great customer service. I had the chasu ramen (pork belly); it came chock full of ingredients like veggies, mung beans, sesame seeds, pickled radish, ramen egg and seaweed. I love m
It was a great dinner with my family. I enjoyed all. Although they were busy, food was quickly came to us. I also ordered soft drink but next time please they give me with the ice:)
Absolute must-visit if you're in Dunedin. Top quality Japanese food at really reasonable prices. Great flavours, great portion sizes and friendly staff. The mini rice balls are a definite must-try.
Amazing food, nice presentation, great service and atmosphere! They changed the wrong order immediately without a question! Thanks for that! Food portion was value for money!
Wow, just wow. The atmosphere, quick service, 5 star dishes, just incredible. Jizo has always been a top fav of mine. This year I have dinned here 7 times, averaging just under once a month. As far as Japanese restaurants go, this is it Dunedin. They can accommodate any group that be a two person da
Sushi platters was amazing!! Good variety, salmon was on point. Service was a little let down but Other than the drinks were just full of ice, the food was a top contender in this side of town.
Got takeaways from this iconic restaurant. Loved every bit of it. From keto sushi to crispy tofu, every offering was delicious and full of satisfying umami flavors
Very busy and service was good. Sushi was great, as were the spring rolls and gyozas. Tempura was huge and batter quite thick. Not fantastic but not bad either. Not a quiet place when busy but it was a nice night out.
Really nice atmosphere with an expansive vegan & keto menu in addition to an already large regular menu too. Had a great teriyaki tofu donburri that I’d happily eat again.
