The food here was really good! Staff were all friendly. Very tasty - we had the chicken breast and the battered fish. both were extremely fresh. Beers and ciders off the tap super refreshing as well
The staff were awesome , friendly, bit noisy but that's a tavern for you , great meal , so filling, so tasty , same all around the table , meat was tasty and not over cooked , compliments to the chef, thank you

The staff are helpful and friendly, but I was very disappointed the other day when I ordered some oysters and they were tiny compared to some on a friend's plate. When I said something to the staff she said the oyster haven't been as good this season. I think they should charge less or offer to put extra on the plate 💁♀️
Have been coming here for the past 2 years and it's such a great spot. The amazing staff and the relaxed atmosphere are what makes this place so good. They truly value their customers and that's what keeps me coming back. I really enjoy the food too. Awesome prices and a big fan of the roast pork.
Thanks to the management and staff at Mitchell's for an outstanding night in the function room for a family birthday. The great service, food and hospitality were appreciated by all who attended. Special mention to the Chef, Waitress and Bar Staff. You are a credit to the hospo industry and to the Mitchell's Tavern crew.
