Had such a great meal with my family here, four adults and two kids - nicely filling. Every dish was incredibly made and such wonderful service! Chicken is also halal. Best Korean restaurant I have been to so far, feels like each dish is homemade.
We went on a busy night and it took about 15 minutes for the staff to clean the table for us. The menu does not describe the dishes written in Korean so we had to ask the waitress about them, would like to get at least a sentence stating the type of meat in the stew and noodle dishes. Consistently the best Korean food over the past 10 years of being their customer. Lovely and attentive staff, and they catered very well for our large groups throughout 2023. The Gamjatang and Kimchi Pancake are my faves. They've recently updated the menu and the chicken bites are delicious.
The best authentic Korean food restaurant on the South Island. Please someone take me back there. Kimchi chicken fried rice is highly recommended

The lunch was really good. The dishes were on point. Pan fried tofu, chicken nibbles, BBQ kimchi, Kimchi Gamjatang, Kimchi Gamjatang Casserole, Cold Bibim noodle. Very exciting to try out 'Kimchi Gamjatang casserole' on the tabletop gas stove. And (by staff suggestion) we also had fried rice on the
We've ordered seafood pancake, Crispy chicken wings and one sizzling dishes. All the dishes tastes in adverage range. Main dishes came with rice and sides were a bonus.
I will recommend they light up their entrance and the stairs, otherwise it is too dark which seems like they are close.
Steamed dumplings were delicious. Hot Dolsot and regular Bibimbap were both good. K-pop music videos were confusing. Korean beer Cass is a good lager. Quite busy on a Friday night, but fast and good friendly service.
Ordered Bibimbap through delivereasy and it was absolutely delicious! They also said thank you on the bag and in Korean! Loved it :)
Enjoyed the food here on my first night in Dunedin. A warm atmosphere and quick friendly service are two more reasons to try this out.

Kimchi soup pot stew is very nice and the kimchi pork fried rice is big portion but a bit dry. The side dishes is too less compared with others korean restaurant. overall its ok and have a good try

Fried chicken with sweet and spicy flavour!A recommended dish to have if you’re out with friends for a drink as this fried chicken goes really well with Soju! 7 pieces for $14 is a steal for the size of the wing and the detailed flavour. Quick food service and great window seats.
amazing food, went with family over easter break, chill environment, helpful staff, just 1 unfortunate thing is that it is quite hidden as it is upstairs, but otherwise, worth a try :) edit: (still amazing 1 year later)

So yummy and good quality! All food was very satisfied (Dolsot Bibimbab 돌솥비빔밥, Spicy Chicken 양념치킨, Japchae 잡채, Spicy Beef Soup 육계장, and Steamed Eggs 계란찜). Highly recommend!
