Off the bat. I adore this venue. The view is stunning and really can't be beat. I found the ambience of the place to be cheerful and inviting. I like the way they have kept the feel of the old firehouse. The food was decent, although the lack of a actual meal menu hurts. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but what I did have I enjoy (white chocolate latte).
The staff in my experience have been lovely and approachable.
First off - Really nice coffee. It’s just right. Good flavour, not bitter, and well prepared. The cabinet food is really tasty, as is the made to order stuff. They have a large selection of sweet and savory cabinet food as well as made to order soups, bagels, waffles, breakfast burritos, etc. The service is always lovely and quick. The building and atmosphere is super cool with excellent views over the harbour and out to the pacific. Nice place to get some work done on your computer as well. Nice music in the background. Magazines provided if you want something to read. Nice range of coffee beans, small gifts, mugs, and insulated cups to buy as well.
Great atmosphere and views, beautiful food and friendly staff.
Only problem was tea not hot enough. Got extra 'hot' water this wasn't hot enough either.
Beautiful food in the cabinets and you can order off a menu. The staff were welcoming. The view over the Harbour is stunning. Varied places to sit. Children's play area with seats for family in separate area. Would come here again.
Great food and coffee. They also have best view of Dunedin harbour in the coffee shop. Love their chicken filo. Has different choices of sweets and savoury. Staff are great. They are always full but the staff are doing their best to serve the customers faster.
Courteous service, yummy piccolos and spot-on peanut butter bliss balls. The only sad part was half of the tables couldn’t be used due to COVID restrictions. Time to support small, local businesses. This one is surely worth it.
This is our regular pit stop for coffee and magazines. The staff we encountered on our last visit was friendly, helpful and smiling. The latte was perfect and the baking was scrumptious. Thanks, team.
Another Sunday stopover on the way to home from town at one of our favorites. As usual it was busy and we were served very warm by the girl behind the counter. Our coffees were perfect and the courgette fritters were yummm too. Until we struck a strand of hair in the fritters.
That put us off. Gave the leftover back to the girls at the counter. That's where it ended, sadly.
After a long break due to poor coffee I visited CC Dunedin.
Busy staff due to illness and being short staffed. Best white choffee that I have had from CC Dunedin. Cheese roll cooked to perfection. Friendly smiling staff. I'll be back. 😀
Cafe which stays open until 9PM. Great coffee and slices with nice atmosphere.
The best cafe in town . Lana and team are amazing . I enjoyed every bit of my food with the most delicious white flat coffee. Highly recommended.
Great view and coffee. One of the coffee places that opens till late - I mean till 10pm. Ideal for people who like to work in cafes. The internet is not bad
Edit : I've revised to five stars as the business owner is active on Google Reviews. Now that's something I really like
Lovely cafe great views and atmosphere and good place to take kids as they have a corner with toys and books
As with most everywhere I've been in Dunedin, the coffee here, too, is very good. Friendly and helpful staff are a feature here at this popular cafe that has nice views back down the hill to Dunedin and the harbour. Nice bacon and egg roll and two coffees came to about 15 dollars.
Great food and service even had a Fire Engine turn up for the atmosphere 😁 with a fire alarm going off 😁
Lovely atmosphere. Great view. Lovely food. Great smoothies and super amazing Staff.
They got my orders wrong but still worth coming here for treat and coffee ☕ 😋
