Sweet & Sour Pork is one of the best I’ve ever had!
Pork’s soft, batters great , sauce is sticky!
Came in with the family just looking for something to eat. Ended up getting one of the $28per person set menus. Great food, great service. Even just the cheep option was more than enough to feed us. The chicken and corn soup was delicious. Definitely would come back while in Dunedin again.
The new renovation looks great, and they upgraded their menu with more options.
I love the West lake chowder soup and the stewed crab roe and tofu, rich flavors and definitely value of money.

We got 4 kids and 4 adults for lunch, yummy food with cheap price. Love the sweet tofu and crispy bird nest, sizzling seafood serve hot and all the food are delicious! Recommend for family or even couples.
Great food, great service but the main st of south d not much atmosphere looking out at the street

China Palace is my go to place for both Fish and Chips and dining in at the Restaurant. Their battered onion sausage is really nice. My husband loves the meat patties and I the fish. We have the above most often but enjoy mixing it up from the menu for a change. Also buy bluff oysters when they are

I have not rated atmosphere as only went to takeaway section not into restaurant. Some days awesome food, occasionally above average. Consistent enough to have me going back. Their Chinese food is awesome 👌
Good food for a good price! Took a medium sized combo for $7 NZD. A medium size gave me plenty of food and I could choose by myself which kind of dishes I wanted to combine.
I often go here to get fish n chips. They are so good here!
Satay chicken burgers are my favourite here, but I regularly buy good old fish n chips, fried rice and noodle dishes. Always delicious and staff are really friendly and service is fast most of the time. Interesting notices/bulletins etc on the walls to read while you wait.
I come here often. And have always had a beautiful meal.
Never had to wait long. Always order the buffet. Change it a bit. No problems with that.
Service is wonderful. Would highly recommend!! Best Chinese in Dunedin!!
