Had takeaway lunch menu. Service was fantastic welcoming and helpful. Very accommodating when I said I don't eat much meat and she carefully grabbed mostly veggies for me. Yummy dish. Good experience. Would return
Think this has become the new go to for takeaways, big dishes, massive burgers and tasty. Would highly recommend.
A group of us got takeaways from here yesterday. The food was very very good. Great flavors. Children's pick were the wantons. Have already recommended to others
This place is great value for money, the burgers are fantastic
will now be a regular
Best Asian takeout. Big portion and very yummy too. This place is clean and modern, very pleased with the quality of food. I'll definitely go back.
Satisfying...mmmmm... thinking about it now makes me hungry.
I have tried many of the Japanese and Chinese dishes from the menu, the container is always filled to the brim (I sometimes wonder how he is going to manage getting the lid on!) The food is prepared from eye viewing distance and seems fresh.
The burgers and fries are more expensive than your local chippie but my goodness.. they are something else. The mushroom 'field' burger was amazing.
Plenty of parking, quick enough service... great take away option
Only discovered this place late last year, has to be the best Asian takeout in Dunedin by far, Chips and Aioli are beautiful, Buffet is delicious... not really much more to say, may try the new restaurant soon!
OMG - yum! We had tried here when 1st opened and wasn't that impressed but in the last six months this has been our choice of takeaway! Kids $5 burger are like gourmet. The Chinese menu has to be the best - combo egg foo yung, beef ginger (not on menu board - but ask and the chef will cook is delish). Tonight we are trying sweet and sour pork (due to other reviews) plus have been advised to try the lemon chick - I'm salivating just thinking about it. Fingers x'd it is still up to the high standards. I definitely recommend Wok Fusion.
**wouldn't recommend s&s pork or lemon chicken - both over battered and chicken was dry inside and some pork fat was just battered, plus both sauces were so thick there was nothing left to pour as it had stuck to all the batter. However, not disappointed with the ginger beef .
I had come to Wok fusion for the first time the other night and i would just like to say it was superb. I have been hearing great comments about you guys from co workers and it lived up to my expectations.
I had the chinese meals and my favourite would have been the sweet and sour pork, and probably the best in town.
It was fairly busy at that time and food was coming out at a reasonable pace but the service was great when the lady had updated me on how long my food was going out.
all in all great place for a great meal and reccommend to all :D
We shared a meltdown burger and chips for dinner.
It's not a bad fast food burger. The sauces are applied judiciously and are not too sweet, which allows a better balance of flavours than other places (I'm looking at you Angusburgh). The only downside is the bun is a little too thick relative to the insides. Still, we enjoyed it more than either Velvet or Angusburgh.
The chips are nicely cooked but quite heavily salted, so if that's not your thing let them know when you order.
Store was clean and nicely presented. Staff were very nice.
This is the BEST Asian takeout in Dunedin. I say Asian, as they offer both Chinese and Japanese menu's. The store is modern and sparkly clean, the staff friendly and the food excellent value for money. You get a huge serving lunch $5.50 and dinner $11.50 or alternately order from the varied menu.
The burgers, omg the burgers they are HUGE, think Velvet Burger but cheaper and without the surly attitude!
The only criticism is the music is really really loud and it's difficult to hear the person taking your order.
Although they can get very busy at peak times , the food is worth the wait.
I did find it dropped off for a month or two not long after I first tried them, but complaints to the owners were obviously taken on board, and it's back to being first class.
4 words..... I love this place! Ever since the opening last year i have been a regular customer coming atleast once a week to not be dissapointed but to be impressed even more each time I go. I still cant believe the sizes of the burgers are, even the cheap 5.50 meltdown only to be expecting a simple cheeseburger ended up to be my main meal was fantastic. The other burgers are just as great and all come at the same size so there is definately no worries of not being hungry after it.
Mornington chinese and even some of the higher class asian restaraunts in Dunedin have become obselete to Wok fusions chinese food. I personally dont believe it is expensive , i mean come on the box is full to the brim!! and whats even better you actually get to see it cooked in front of your eyes in a marvellous clean kitchen which to me is the standing point.
The customer service i believe is top notch, people up there look after you every single time.... if something has gone wrong or a mistake has happened they wont just give you a "sorry please wait" they actually made the wait or mistake worth it, no one in town does that. Customer service plus the A grading they recently received ..... mate this place is the place to be and im being as truthful as i can.
Hope all goes well and i recommend everyone to go and try it out, you wont regret it!
Clean, fast, value for money and good taste. BIG Burgers. And great lunch and also dinner box. $17.9 you will got 1 kg food. I am regular customer.
The yummy takeout boxes with a great range of options. The amount of foods in one container can offer 2 meals of mine. Worth it!
Got the sweet n sour pork on fried rice today aswell as the "chilli beef and chicken?"
Owner makes his own chinese traditional sweet n sour sauce from scratch with Chinese plums and does an amazing job doing so.
Owner correct me on the chilli beef in a reply if u like and I'll edit the review 😉
Super good value for the price! Boxes are always filled to the brim which means the meal is probably enough for 2 servings.
A staple in Mornington!
Our favourite place to buy hot food.
Great food and great price.
Quick stop here to grab some hot chips for lunch. Took about 10 minutes, chips were hot and crispy, no issues here.
Food was amazing, sweet n sour pork that tastes so good been 12 years sense I I found anything this good.
Only recommendation would be an extra place to sit while waiting for food
Nice and easy plus clean and tasty.
The staff are all pleasant and they all know my usual dish so it makes me feel quite welcome. its the gem hidden within the countdown carpark :)
Service was great, if a little confusing for a first timer.
The different meals didn't mind being packed together and tasted really good
Excellent food, fresh and efficient/friendly services. Best value in terms of the variety of options available as well as its quantity/quality.
best chinese food in dunedin awesome sweet and sour pork and wontons great burgers
Just a simple lunchtime pre-prepared buffet combo, but not at all bad. Am struggling with appetite presently, but today I could go back for seconds! The sweet and sour pork - in small, crisp, but sauce-soaked pieces - was really good. Recommended.
Probably one of the best value for money take out options in Dunedin. Their dinner and lunch boxes from the buffet-style setup out front are awesome. I often find that kind of buffet food is sub-par and I wouldn't get it elsewhere but at Work Fusion it is different. This places rocks.
Great food and amazing service. Very generous with amounts of food. You Need to try dumpling. Omg the best I. Town.
Best Chinese in town and good value for money. i thought prices were abit steep until i saw how much they cram in them containers. I tried eating a large myself but couldnt do it, makes a good lunch the next day. Plenty of combinations and no waiting around is a plus. I'm definitely going to gain a few kilos because of this place.
