Had breakfast in this place, indeed was big breakfast. Delicious, fast service and reasonable price.
A wonderful experience, we stayed in the hotel that houses the restaurant for 2 nights and ate here both nights. Night one I ordered the linguini, extremely tasty and very light. But, the real experience was on night 2, ordered a medium rare steak with mushroom sauce and shoestring fries. Not only was the portion perfect the steak was soft and cooked just right, not tough at all. The big winner for me though was the mushroom sauce, I don’t want to ruin it but it was amazing. Have tried many different mushroom sauces (mushrooms are a personal favourite) and this was by far my top of all time, will be tough to beat!
10/10 will be back next time!
Venison pie was quite excellent, if pricey. Decor needs to be pretty badly updated though. The bar in the hotel is very comfortable in winter. Definitely been to much worse places.
