The best fish and chips I tasted so far in New Zealand. Loving the concept, whatever you feel like giving for the food is okay :)
Perfect Stop at the road or after a wildlife trip. You give for the food what you might have to give. High level of quality an good service. Had best fish and chips in NZL and yummi waffles.
Stopped for a real fruit ice cream. Friendly service. Mr Gordon gave a few history lesson of the bay. Good conversation...

Super friendly cook/barista with an adorable dog. Good coffee and good food. He even provides binoculars to watch some wildlife.
Amazing view. We stopped for a coffee and some waffles. The food took a while so not the place to eat if you’re in a rush but I think it’s worth a stop. We even got some free fruit for on the road.
If you have the time please stop here and support this mans business I love it and I’d love to go there again.
What a find! Frank makes the best Fish'n'chips! He is an original dutch guy and you can taste it in his fries. We had it with flowers from a nearby garden. The atmosphere is very laid back. Definetly will be back! Prices are donations based on your value for the food.
Interesting place to eat, I got a couple of waffles that were very nice.
There aren't any prices so it seems to be just pay what you think is fair in cash. The guy made two coffees for free while we were there.
He's very friendly and nice to chat with. There's shelter next to the cafe with a free to play arcade machine.
I'd definitely go back again if I didn't live so far away.
Amazing place. Great food (not fast but gives you time to enjoy the place), super friendly owners. (Had a fish&chips, a coffee and homemade ice cream, all of them are worth trying).
