Our first visit. Although kitchen was closed (after 2pm), there was still some pretty interesting selection of cabinet food. We ordered a croissant, an eggplant halloumi veggies slice and a chicken pie. The pie was absolutely delicious. Coffees were great too. Highly recommended. Will be back!

its a nice spot for some unusual brunch options and some typical ones with a slight twist.
We had the Japanese omelette which was nice and tasty , a little small for my husband but he still really liked it .
I had the marys little lamb which was lovely cooked lamb ,salad and some cauliflower with a eggplant puree that was nice but a little too much tumeric in it. I did like it overall as there was plenty lamb but it could do with some break perhaps to round it out and soak up the puree which is rather wet
Would like to drop back and try some more options as there are so many tasty things on the menu
First time to eat at Woolfy’s and I enjoyed the food. The prawn omelette I think is unique and something unusual for breakfast, but it’s so good! I also love their fried chicken and the beetroot latte. Will definitely comeback once we are back to
level 2.
Finally visited this place today with friends and I must say that the service and ambience was perfect. Food was different and delicious, everything pictured is worth a try. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new.

the hot cake was surprisingly good and the nuts on top gave it different texture. The corn fritters are so amazing as well and I loved the sauce inside the corn fritter plate. Should get there early tho cuz they get really busy after 10!!!!

We love the atmosphere of the place and how the staff are always polite, the food is great and the coffee is greater.
However sometime they are running behind on coffee orders, and they lose track of customers who comes in so we had to wait to be served - but all is understandable as we were forced to not work for a couple of weeks thanks to Auntie Rona!!
However the service is always nice, and the food is always filling us up with a lot of flavours, I cannot complain about them being busy. Always love going back

Went here for the first time and definitely won’t be my last time. The meal that we ordered were usual brunch eggs on toast and it was delicious. Woolfy’s had great ambience and the prices were decent.

Woofys is a must to try if you can get there, their food is delicious and presented really well and always very fast! The location and decor is really cute and makes from a really nice cafe! Also do really amazing coffees so highly recommend
The food was very filling and good value for money. The berry smoothie was okay but I wouldn’t buy it again considering it’s $8. The corn fritters and burgers are really good and worth a try if you visit.

Absolutely delicious. It’s not something I can describe to you, you have to try it to know. Both the chicken and fritters executed and taken to a whole new level as a modern dish and the Jaffa pancakes 😍 with unique vegetables like rhubarb.
Woolfy know how to make an attractive looking Canute! The doughnuts will made you drool! The cabinet on its own has a great selection (savoury and especially sweet). We ordered the eggs bene and the fried chicken and corn fritters. The bene was very nice and the homemade spinach loaf was pretty good! The fried chicken was delicious! And paired with the sauce - yummm. I found the fritters a little dry which let down the dish. Coffee was on point but the service was a little slow - which was understandable considering peak time and the crowds. Definitely one cafe for the gram!
This is becoming my regular because of the variety of vegetarian options. The staff is super friendly and easy going. Wish they open for dinner some days but look forward to brunches and lunches there too 👍🏽⭐️

I am so glad I got a chance to eat here. Can I just say above all else the service here is too notch. The wait staff were knowledgeable, confident, attentive and efficient. I was very impressed. I also liked it how the items on their menu all had a little twist. We had the Breakfast Foo Yong which is an omelette with shrimps and tonkatsu, the Salmon poke bowl, which had a really nice dressing. The Chicken burger also really tasty and then the Bubble and Squeak with corned silverside and braised cabbage- this was my favourite. We also finished off our meals with a couple of home made dessert items from the cabinet. I will definitely be back again, I had such a great experience.
I loved everything about this place. The place was really cute and the war yellow used definitely brightened up the place and made it feel welcoming. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, with quick and efficient service. I ordered the crapes and they were absolutely amazing. They were served with a strawberry whipped cream and just brought the whole meal together. I definitely recommend this place.

This cafe really surprised me, big portion but still have nice presentation and all fresh ingredients. Cute little cafe with excellent service! Loved the food that what we ordered. I had the breakfast egg foo yong with ginger lemon tea and ended it with the chocolate cake. My partner had the button mushroom and he finished his meal with a orange and almond cake. We both enjoyed every bite of our meal. The only thing he didn’t like was the fact there was only one poached egg instead of two (personal choice). It did get quiet noisy inside and it was hard to hear when everyone is taking at once. It’s a popular for the area and the selection of food and desserts were amazing!! Loved it.
Came to check this place out during the weekend. We ordered a fried chicken strips, salmon bowl and a Matcha Latte. The Salmon bowl, in my opinion, was tasty and healthy but not worth its price. The fried chicken strips were delicious. Matcha Latte was OK but I personally thought that using coconut milk made it taste a little weird. Service was friendly and overall, not a bad experience. Would be keen to come back to see what else they have to offer.

My friend and I came for breakfast and we ordered the Woolfy’s Toast and Blueberry Hotcakes. If you have a sweet tooth, these menus are the best ones you could get! The meals had gorgeous looks and tasted berry berry nice. It took us a while to choose which one to order but the staffs were super friendly.
Definitely come back here again to try other menus especially the savoury ones.
Came in today for a Sunday brunch. Ordered the bubble and squeak (hash, ham, egg, crispy kale, peas) and a pecan tart from the cabinet. The tart crust texture was quite hard but the filling was quite nice. The bubble and squeak was really delicious though. Sauce really matched with the mashed potato and peas. Service was great, staff were really friendly.

One of the best cafes in Auckland! The presentation of their food is outstanding and they add unique flavours and twists to standard brunch items like eggs benne, omelette and hot cakes. The staff are lovely and welcoming. They have really cute themed seating as well. Only reason why I haven’t given 5 stars is because the place can become quite overcrowded during busy periods but the amazing food definitely makes up for it! :)
My recent pop pick brunch place. Very like the can’t decide(big breakfast) choice. It includes everything you crave for. And the price is just right, not like some other overpriced place. The only sad point is a bit far from where I live. But it still makes me travel all along to here for this yum breakfast!

I had heard of Woolfy’s but had yet to try it until today. Great atmosphere on first impression, lovely staff also. We ordered drinks and my hot chocolate was a little more like warm chocolate but still yummy!

Can’t fault this place, I went here for brunch with a friend and it was busy, but they seem to manage very well. I ordered the salmon bagel from the cabinet and my friend got the french toast. Both were lovely and there iced chocolate sure was a treat. The decor was nice and all the food almost looks too good to eat
Food is beautifully presented and taste delicious. Had lunch with few friends there, phoned to book a table and was told they don't take bookings but will see what they can do. When we got there, they did manage to keep a table for us at 12pm. Tick! It was very busy lunch time, service was efficient. Within reasonable 20 mins waiting after ordering, Egg Bene, Salmon bowl, Can't decided, Egg Fu Rong and Bluberry Hotcakes were on the table. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful lunch. We tried Carrot, orange and turmeric juice (similar like orange juice). Outdoor sitting area has gas heater, location is north facing so pretty warm and cosy. Would come again.

We came here for lunch on a Thursday and the place was really busy. Service was fast, staffs were welcoming and food came reasonably fast. We ordered Can’t Decide and the French Toast with 2 Chai Latte.
Can’t decide - was really good. They used smashed bean on toast instead of avocado, which is special. The muesli was a nice touch to the meal.
French Toast - toast was a bit dry but otherwise everything else was good.
Coffee was average.
Not to mention their cabinet food looked so good too, will be back to try.
The only painful thing was that it was really hard to find a car park, even off street parking.
We ordered a Egg Bene with Mushrooms and a young Breakfast. It was AMAZING :D we were shocked at the speed for the food preparation, only took around 10mins! We really enjoyed today’s meal, thanks guys :)

Such a nice little place! Its probably one of my favourite lunch spots, I wish they would open another branch in the CBD :( its always busy which is a good sign, the staff are very friendly and the food is amazing! We had the Homestyled fried chicken | Brioche french toast | The big boy | Side of fries | Iced choc. The serving sizes are perfect and so is the taste. The chicken is always crunchy and alot and the jalapenos give the right amount of spicyness. The french toast is so yum aswell, can be abit over sweet unless thats your kinda thing and the fries are never ending lol.

Came here for an early breakfast on a Sunday morning before heading off to the airport. We ordered the brioche French toast, 'can't decide', blueberry hotcakes, eggs bene (smoked salmon and bacon) and a slice of the raspberry cream cheese cake. All plates were beautifully presented, especially the brioche French toast (all eyes were on the fairy floss 🤣). My blueberry hotcakes were yum yum yum! Very fluffy and warm pancakes incorporated with a generous amount of blueberries 👍 love the tart lemon curd that goes so well with the pancakes. Also tried the raspberry cream cheese cake - great texture and flavour. Everyone else around the table were happy and satisfied with their meal too. Good sized portion for the pricing. Had a quick meal service. Vibrant environment with indoor and outdoor options. Drinks were satisfactory, the Matcha was a little bit strong for my taste. The plating of the food was incredible with such vibrant colours. I felt like it was too pretty to eat. Great Japanese twist on a classic egg omelette which had seaweed pickles cabbage,mayo and prawn cracker on the side.Personally would have preferred maybe having a bit of bread on the side.Good Oriental take of a smashed avocado replacing it with Edemame. The dish was made fresh by the beetroot dressing. Overall, unexpected tasteful brunch venue on a corner of an industrial area.
Best eggs bene I’ve had in a long time! Presentation here is always impressive and the food does not disappoint. Also had a coconut milk hot chocolate which was equally as delicious. Couldn’t resist leaving without trying some of their impressive cabinet food so we chose the caramel slice, definitely recommend.

First off, the vibe here is stunning! The cafe is so cute and always bustling with happy customers! The cabinet food here is top notch with a tempting range of donuts, slices and cakes!
I’ve been here twice now, once for a donut and the other time for a sit down meal! Th banana cream donut I had was so so full of cream and tasty that the naughty dog snuck onto the table and ate half of it when we were out!
The second time I had the Buddha bowl (which looked AMAZING). I loved the Buddha bowl so much but it lacked a lot of seasoning and I really had to pile on the salt and pepper!!!
Overall, Woolfys has great, profesional service, awesome vibes and drool worthy food! Their meals could use more flavour but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed with the provided salt and pepper... they also do a mean coffee. 😫💖

I've been to woolfies several times now. Their fried chicken are amazing and one of my favs! This time though, we were a little sick of the same old so went for something different on their menu. We got the pulled lamb and salmon bowl this time. I'm usually not into "healthy" meals but I loved this! Service here is also always great!

I was here for lunch on a Sunday.i ordered the brioche French toast with fairy floss and ice cream cone which this place is famous for, it looked insanely pretty, the “ice cream” is berry cream which goes great with the French toast. My friends ordered the egg fu young which I highly recommend and the blueberry pancake that’s also very good.
The cafe is bright and clean, the service helpful during busy lunch service. The food in the cabinets looked nice but I ordered the breakfast foo yong which was a delicious Japanese style prawn omelette with Bonita flakes, seaweed and picked vegetables. My friends enjoyed their meals, the burgers were massive and there were nice gluten free options too. A hidden gem in Highbrook, I'd give a 4.5 if I could

So far this is probably my favourite cafe in Auckland. All their dishes and bakery stuff are so pretty and attractive 🤤 We’ve tried their 2 types of donuts which are both delicious!! The cream inside is really fresh and tastes really natural and healthy even tho it's donuts 😝
🥗 I've never liked carrots 🥕 But strangely, when it got shredded to noodles type, maybe also because of the sauce they use, I love it!! Simple but really yummy! 😋 Salmon is good too but nothing too special about it. Highly recommend this dish(Salmon Bowl), it's definitely a guilt-free yummy bowl!

Knew about woolfy’s when they were still building it and was excited to try it out since, months later I finally did!
To me it seemed to be the most busiest café in East Tamaki. We were lucky to get a seat even though it was super busy and almost all tables were taken.
For food we ordered the big boy burger and blueberry hotcakes. The Hotcakes were different to normal pancakes as they weren’t soft and actually had a crunch to them, I didn’t mind it but was expecting it to be soft and fluffy (which I would prefer). The toppings were very sweet but also had some tanginess through the fruits.
For the burger I reckon they should give a side of sauce in a ramekin for the fries as the sauce was just squirted on the side and looked abit messy (also wasn’t enough sauce for the fries). The burger and meat was cooked well however.
I ordered a coconut milk chai latte for myself and OMG hands down the best chai latte I have ever had!! I just wish I had told them to make it extra hot as it went cold quite quick while we were waiting for the food. I normally don’t like coconut milk with hot drinks and would rather almond milk but they didn’t have almond which Im quite glad they didn’t because that coconut milk tasted amazing with the chai😍
A good vibe to the place and very clean. I noticed staff clearing and cleaning tables on the go as well even though they were busy.
I would definitely be back to try different things on their menu and maybe the cabinet food as well which also looked amazing!
Have been to Woolfy's a few times for coffee. I like their mochas. Very nice atmosphere, colourful and clean. Haven't tried their cabinet or menu food but looks really appetizing and instaworthy!

Loved the aesthetic of this place. We ordered a cappuccino, the pulled lamb bowl and a side of fries. The cappuccino had great flavour, the pulled lamb bowl was full of different textures and flavours that paired well together and the fries were a generous portion served creatively in a bucket. The girl who served us was really friendly and sweet which added to the great experience. Would definitely come back to try out some more dishes and the cabinet food.

Came here for brunch the other day. I had the French toast and my friend had the fried chicken. Even though my food amazing I felt like I should have gotten the fried chicken. It had a nice spice rub and came with a tasty sauce. If you feel like something sweet though the French toast is definitely the way to go!! Loved the addition of the fairy floss

Drove a bit out of Botany to get some food here and it did not disappoint. The place was aesthetically pleasing, with its quirky lights and effective use of space.
There was a range of affordable food offerings consisting of your regular brunch stables to sweets and savouries in the cabinet - was tough to not order everything I laid my eyes on! I settled on the chocolate lamington (cabinet range) and was delighted with the way it tasted. It wasn’t sickening sweet and had the perfect blend of a light cream with a chocolatey-sweetness. It looked so mouthwatering too which was a plus!

Greeted after waiting for a bit and got a table. The place was full but there were a few tables free most of the time.
Interesting menu of standard cafe food with a slight twist. I had the iced chocolate with the fried chicken. I found the iced chocolate wasn't very chocolatey. The fried chicken was juicy and crispy. It was served with a salad and corn fritters. They were all tasty. I did think the fritters were a bit crumbly and got a bit stodgy. There were also quite a bit of jalapenos (not complaining since I don't mind spicy food) in the salad.
I was at a table opposite the counter so could see the dessert cabinet the whole time. After much deliberation, I went with the lamington. It was nice but think it would've been nicer if the cream (both inside and out) was sweeter.
Quite a nice cafe with fairly decent service. It's located on a corner and the only entrance is on Cryers road heading towards Highbrook drive (one way in and out). there was quite a bit of parking but I went on a weekend and some of the parking spots were reserved for the other businesses.
A perfect atmosphere for a high end Cafe experience. If you have time to kill and money to spend this is the place to go. With amazing food and aesthetic presentation, it's hard to find a fault in this constantly packed Cafe. Only thing I would recommend is adding variety to the menu, as I felt the experience was very high quality but low uniqueness. I'm happy with my time here.
This place makes the best eggs benedict! The bread was just amazing. However the two people I was with described their dish "okay"

An excellent, new cafe situated on Highbrook! Has good parking nearby and is a decent size. The menu is inviting though a tad expensive in my opinion. I had the fried chicken dish. Tasty and tender chicken accompanied with fresh salad and wedges. The seasoning and quantity was perfect! It took around 20 minutes to arrive as the place was full. The interior design is nice and a great spot for breakfast or brunch.
The presentation was amazing we were thrilled the staff were friendly everything looked and felt clean. Only down side was everything was cold :( I didn't bother to have it heated.
Went there for the first time today. Didn’t take long for the food to be served. Would definitely go back to try the other dishes and desserts. Highly recommend.

Best Latte I’ve ever had. The burgers and chips were fantastic. Will be back. Had no coke. Please order cokes. It’s a fantastic place. We loved this it.
Excellent coffee. The Barista can make a great brew as I’ve had Kokako coffee at other cafes and it’s been pretty average. Came for a sweet treat and wasn’t disappointed. Delicious pseudo cheesecake slice. Very nice. The meals looked really good. Will definitely come back for breakfast. Could do with a good clean though. Hasn’t been opened that long and already looks a bit grubby.
Excellent fried chicken and modern furniture. The cafe set a very good vibe and the staff were extremely pleasant. I have returned multiple times, very satisfied.
The cafe is such a vibrant and refreshing atmosphere and it is reflected in their food. The food is full of colour and refreshing to to look at.
The food is nicely presented and the portion sizes are decent. The cafe let's in a lot of natural lighting and is a perfect spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Listed as one of the newest eateries in Auckland with Instagrammable dishes, Woolfy’s a welcomed addition to the cafe scene in east Auckland, which I admit is rather limited. Located around commercial buildings with a dedicated car park, the bright yellow pops of colour inside and outside makes it hard to miss!
Food here has really nice presentation, really good for the gram too. Only bad thing about it is that their slices (undercovered) ones had flies on it!! The slices look really yummy and I was about to buy one to take home but after seeing that ... maybe not. Just come for the cooked and covered food !
Stunning food, great portion size and lovely service! I come here for the French toast and it is delicious! Not too sweet and not too unsweet. The chilli eggs are great too. Definitely recommend!
Great cafe in East Tamaki a lovely surprise!! Cafe was full but staff attentive and friendly! We had The big boy (burger) which was a generous portion 3/5, salmon bowl 4/5 and chilly scramble 4/5! Coffee 4/5 thank you!!
Loved the whole experience. Food was amazing and quantity was decent as well. Ambiance of this place is cool. Chilli scrambled eggs and chocolate strawberry cake are must try.
As soon as you come in you get foodie vibes right away. You know you will be in for a treat. Their bests include: Fried chicken, salmon salad, eggs bene (that green bread is a beauty), and all their desserts from their cabinet. Have been there 6 times now since they opened and havent been disappointed. They deliver each time. Place is really child friendly too.
If you haven’t been to this cafe, don’t hesitate! You will be amazed for the food and service. Actually the cafe is our east people’s proud of!
When we went, we thought the food was great and the service great. The beetroot latte was particularly nice. The meals were quite filling but really nice. But the next time my friend went, she mentioned that the mushrooms were served cold and the kitchen was untidy. What we were saw on the day was great though.
Finally a cute cafe out east! Great atmosphere and very instagrammable food, with a wide selection in the cabinet too. Always awesome, friendly service

Woolfy’s is located in the heart of East Tamaki and on a very quiet Sunday morning, you can drive past without even noticing it. But when you find this treasure, be sure to walk in and give it a try.
I sipped on their delicious organic carrot, orange and turmeric juice while munching on their crunchy friend chicken strips. The rest of the family ordered everything from their hearty salmon bowl through to the chilli scrambled eggs which tasted amazing.
The food is presented beautifully and the staff there is friendly. The ambiance gets a 10/10 from me. It was a chilly morning but they accommodated for us outside, turned on the heaters as we sipped away on the coffees and juices. They have a full pantry of delightful goodies and I’ve included a picture of their meringues which were a treat to the eyes and to the taste buds!
Came here on a Saturday midday and the place was buzzing! Lucky we got a table without a wait however we were told in advance that there would be 30 minute wait on food. Totally worth the wait! Delicious food, well presented!
Came in this morning to a busy restaurant. We were a party of 12 and we were served instantly and food came out within half an hour. The food was amazing. I also had a chocolate and raspberry donut-hands down best donut I’ve ever eaten!!!!!!!! I will definitely be returning to try different things
The new kid on the block. If you want tasty food, that will also make your Instagram feed look sick, you must visit here. The cabinet selection alone is drool worthy and available for takeaway. What I love is they have an all day menu with both breakfast and lunch options any day of the week. We had the French toast, and the “can’t decide” both portions were large and filling, full of taste and great in flavour. Service was polite and prompt.
Honestly, I've never been to a place where the seasoning has been so perfect and on point. My Big Boy burger was perfectly moist, full of flavour and was delicious to the last bite. Brioche was generously buttered and toasted. While I am a huge fan of full-on in your face garlicky aioli, their milder aioli was a huge hit for me and I may be converted! Hand cut fries were perfectly crispy, light and not greasy. We also ordered the Pulled Lamb bowl and I heard it was just as full of flavour and enjoyable. Coffee was delicious as well.
It was suprisingly busy on a Monday afternoon, but being situated in a industrial zone may be the reason. Nevertheless, staff were attentive and were quick to help us out.
The only negative? I wish I had more.

Such a nice spot in the East Tamaki area~ as a coffeeholic, in my opinion their coffee is one of the best in this area👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I normally get a mocha and they would give a home-made marshmallow on the side. It tastes sooo good, I love it as it has a lychee flavour in it.
I ordered the french toast today, presentations was lovely, totally insta-worthy. The toast was nice and fluffy. The only thing i don’t like on this dish is the cotton candy.. one of my friends commented, “errr it looks like hair in your dish...” I would suggest to change the cotton candy to their home-made marshmallows.
But i reaalylove this place and will definitely come back to try other things on the menu. Keep up the good work!
5/5 for our first experience at Woolfy's! We ordered the salmon eggs benedict and Woolfy's version of the big breakfast cleverly named "Can't Decide?" because it is a bit of everything including their delicious coconut black rice. Both dishes are skillfully put together, each element perfect on their own yet the flavour combination is a symphony to all 6 human senses - the 6th sense is heart/soul as the staff are welcoming/friendly and the cafe ambience is warm and inviting. The coffee was 100%: makes me so happy when I find a cafe who can make a good soy flat white!
Terrible!!! I can’t believe what you did to my diet. These chips are some of the best I ever have had the pleasure to eat. Bought them for my daughter while I stuck to the delicious and wonderfully balanced lamb bowl. Great meal, delicious! But then the unbelievably yummy carbs!! Where’s the consideration to my low carb diet???
The staff were as friendly and helpful as the food was good. Well done all round. Not the best chairs in the world but when you’re going for hipster cool chairs you have to give up a little comfort too.
I loved everything about this cafe! The atmosphere, the service and the food where top notch! I would highly recommend coming here. I seriously can’t wait to come back and eat one of those yummy donuts again.
This place caught my eye a few days ago when I was driving past!
Looking at previous photos and reviews I was really excited to get the dish with melted marshmallows etc however unfortunately they have recently changed their menu.
All of their dishes looked amazing. I had the fried chicken with corn fritters and my friends had the go green dish and button mushrooms. I really enjoyed my meal! The chicken was crunchy, the corn fritters were nice and soft, and the salad was also really yum with the addition of some chilli's and jalapenos. My friends really liked their food too! To finish we had a cake from their cabinet (unsure of the name as my friend picked it) but it was delicious too!
I'd 100% come back to try more of their menu

Found myself a new favourite cafè!
We came in on a Saturday, lunchtime and it was very busy. We were told that there was going to be a 10 minute wait on tables but we got one in less than that. Also, the staff reassured us every time they passed the wait line that tables were going to be available soon.
The food did take some time to come but again, it was pretty busy. We had the salmon eggs bene and the big boy burger.
The salmon eggs bene tasted great! Loved the green (I think it might have had matcha) bread they used as it added a certain sweetness to the food. The eggs could’ve been a little bit more runny, but at least they weren’t cooked all the way. The burger was cooked medium, but I guess you could ask it to be a little more well done. They’re fries are a bit more on the soft side but they tasted amazing with the aioli!
The coffees were also amazing! They’re more on the strong side, so it was a little bit bitter. Sad that they don’t offer almond milk but they do have soy, rice, and coconut milk.
Overall the experience was very good because of the very friendly staff and the food! 👌
I ordered turmeric seafood chowder and it was bit salty and because of the turmeric taste it was more like curry than the chowder but the seafood like the mussels shrimps etc was genuine big pieces not the small frozen ones you get from supermarkets. For me I prefer the original creamy seafood chowder. french toast had so much going on :) beautiful decoration and very sweet. I think kids would love this. coconut milk ice coffee was very nice too.

This place has the best chili scrambled eggs in Auckland! One star off because hubby said his salmon was a bit dry, and I'm not a fan of communal dining, so they could work on the ratio of different sized tables a bit more.

High light of the meal was definitely the brioche French toast! Each component of the dish complimented each other very well, the boysenberry cream was delicious 😋 definitely would order this again!
The watermelon and orange blossom soda was very refreshing, would recommend if you’re a lover of watermelon!
The omelette Florentine was okay, nothing too special like the French toast. Relish was a good pairing with the omelette.
The chowder was the least favourite, a little bland for my taste. Generous with mussels just a little bland.
Very busy place to dine, we came around lunch time on Saturday but we were seated no too long after arriving. It does take a while to get a waiter or waitresses attention but we were served and food came not long after.
Definitely will be back for the French toast and soda, and to sample more from the menu ☺️
Loved everything about this place. Went in for lunch and even though it was busy we were seated quickly and menus were brought to our table. The staff were excellent, place was nicely decorated, food came out quickly and not only did my French toast look amazing it taste good too. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of your menu 😍
Had a catch up lunch in Woolfy’s on Saturday, arrived at 1130 am and place was packed busy. Everyone around the table ordered a dish and drink each. Everyone were happy with what they ordered (omelette, chilli omelette, mushroom, savoury brioche). I was impressed by the kitchen speed considering how busy they were.
A minor let down for me was the brioche not heated in the oven. We got dessert afterward, their tart and cake looks superb and taste good too. Brownies taste ok but prefer goey texture. All in all quite happy and definitely back again if we around the area.
Plenty of parking space and price was ok.
My new favourite cafe in Auckland. Love the ambience and staff were very helpful and attentive. What is the best about this place is the food, I had the chicken tacos that were amazing and my partner had the burger also very excellent. Can’t wait till my next visit. Tea and coffee were made very well can tell that they have an experienced barista.
Was just here with my sis and mum. We had the smashed edamame, brioche French toast, the burger and I tried the watermelon and orange blossom soda.
Can honestly say that Woolfy’s is one of those brunch spots that is definitely worth visit at least once! The atmosphere was great, food tasted amazing and for someone who can’t really stand sweet French toast, I found myself polishing off the whole dish! I also definitely recommend and smashed greens (the flavours went together surprisingly well!)

I have been Woolfy’s a few times now. This place had never disappointed us. Best things ever happened in East Tamaki! 🙌🙌🙌 They have a big selection of cabinet foods, breakfast and lunch menus, most importantly their coffee tastes great! This place is definitely a great place to catch up with friends and family over the weekend. I am so happy they finally open on Sunday, too🤩
Have been here twice now and both times I experienced amazing food, service and atmosphere! The eggs benedict is one of the best I’ve had and their range of cabinet food is also very impressive too. Highly recommend going here for brunch

I have returned after a few months since opening and wow did they impress me! My rating has gone up from a 3 to a 5 now.
The food is smashing! We ordered the Lamb bowl and the Eggs bene with bacon and also took away a couple of desserts for later. I have to say, their donuts are DE.Vine! The texture looks bready but no! It has that golden light crisp outer layer and inside is light and fluffy, then you get to the filling. We ordered the chocolate one and its like having a bowl of rich chocolate mousse with your donut - will def be coming back for all donut cravings in future!
The lamb bowl and eggs bene were very well balanced meals on their own ways in terms of flavour and texture! Loved every bite and this time didn't have to add any seasoning to anything. Yay!! Loving the new local!

Finally a nice modern brunch spot in East Auckland!!! High time we had a standard hippy spot.
Firstly, I don't think they realised exactly how popular they would be because the poor wait staff were slammed when we went in and had at least a half hr wait for food. I didn't mind at all as they did pre warn us before seating us.
Service was actually very impressive considering how hectic the place was. Ambience - love! Just a great open bright cafe vibe.
Food was average, just standard cafe food, nothing to fancy and completely lacking in salt but they provide salt and pepper shakers on every table to add to your liking. However presentation and window food are all tempting.
Price - standard
Overall, I would like to give them a few more weeks to settle and the craze to die down before I try again - I feel like they could definitely be a solid 4 after they have ironed out their initial teething problems.

Was warmly invited by Roger (the owner) for a visit since their opening three weeks ago! The bright yellow “Woolfy’s” catches your eye from miles away, nestled on the ground floor of a new office junction.
Urbane meets vintage; rustic meets playful. The play between the brick wall, the leather seats with faux fur, wooden tables and a sleek slab of glass stretching from all 3 sides opens the eye to a modern yet lively eatery. The delicate yet futuristic geometric lights further amps up the ambience of the place.
It was peak lunch hour on a Saturday; and was buzzing with people! By that time their amazing selection of cabinet foods would be near empty, so get in quick! Say goodbye to typical cafe dishes; their menu offers unique and creative dishes such as Triple Cheese Quesadillas and Low Carb Laksa, just to name a few! You’ll be spoilt for choice, guaranteed. They also offer a full range of fragrant Zealong Teas!
We were generously advised the Home Style Fried Chicken on Corn Fritter, Smoked Kahawai Terrine, and their famous insta-worthy Brioche French Toast!
The Home Style Fried Chicken was delicious! Their house made slaw intricately mixed with the black bean sauce and flaky corn fritter is enough to set a spark on your palette. The tender fried chicken pieces is far from greasy, biting though the flaky and crunchy coating and into the soft tender chicken. Be warned though, if you’re not big on spice or chilli, this might get you by surprise as it comes topped with both fresh and pickled chilli!
The Smoked Kahawai Terrine is such a unique creation! The Kahawai comes in the form of a rectangular block made from shredded/pulled Kahawai flesh; accompanied by crispy nut bread brittle, wasabi dip and a side salad. Essentially you would spread the nutbread brittle with everything for the full experience — it’s an amazing explosion of textures! Flavour wise it’s also very sophisticated and more suitable for the brave and adventurous. There’s also a green dip which I can’t quite formulate but it elevated the flavours of the dish significantly!
Their famous Brioche French Toast was a delight! If there’s one thing you need to know, it’s that their sweet dishes aren’t overwhelmingly sweet. The caramelised toast pieces were moist in the centre and crispy on the edges. The boysenberry cream is like a soft cloud! Fresh flavours but so delicately light on the tongue! Melted marshmallows were gooey and added the perfect balance of texture and flavour for those looking for an extra sugar kick. To finish it off, there’s even a small waffle cone dunked into a larger scoop of boysenberry cream, topping the hat for this creation.
Roger also gave us some sweet goodies from the cabinet - a raw coconut slice with crushed almond/walnut base; and a chocolate salted caramel slice.
The coconut slice was the perfect balance of sweetness and textures; nothing better to finish the meal with a mouthful of smooth yet crunchy dessert!
The chocolate and salted caramel slice was also well-balanced; the spoon cracks through a layer of chocolate, sinking into the decadent layer of salted caramel, and finally breaks at the densely crunch brownie base.
Overall, this is a popping addition to the local area providing exciting, freshly sourced and unique creations that is well bang for your buck! The staff try to be as attentive as they can, but don’t expect perfect service because they are all busy as heck! Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating though; we were seated in a really sunny table to begin with, but was recommended to another table elsewhere away from the sun. It’s details like this that makes the whole package of a good cafe. I will be back to try their Zealong Teas!

This is a great addition to the East Tamaki area. The place was very busy when we went for an early brunch like 10:30’ish in the morning. Already there are many people waiting for a seat. The waiting time to be seated was around 5 minutes which was not too bad. Free plain water was served when we were seated and the time taken to have the order taken was reasonable. They have an interesting selection of drinks. Their tea selection is all from Zealong! At the price of $3.50 a pot, I think it is quite worth for money. I originally planned to order their special coffee with coconut milk but couldn’t resist the Zealong tea. My husband ordered The Full Moon (eggs on Ciabatta with bacon, smoked sausage, potato croquette, grilled tomato with baked black beans) and I ordered their Woolfey’s Egg Benedict. The drinks came shortly but it took a while for our meals to be served. I think we waited at least 30 minutes for them (they did come out together). Before the meals were served, we were offered some slices and brownies. They told us it was on the house due to the longer serving time. We did not even enquire or show displeasure before that so were surprised and impressed that they took the initiative to serve us the slices/brownies. The service was also good even though they were so busy. The staff seemed relax under pressure and the manager (I assume) always has a smile on his face. We will certainly be back for their other dishes and you should try too!
As an east aucklander I have to say thank you for this new cafe with character! I feel it’s really difficult to find a perfect mocha in east with just the right % of coffee, chocolate and sugar, and I found it here! Food was great with very reasonable price , highly recommended
Great to have a new cafe in the ever growing East Tamaki area. This location can be hard to get to on a busy intersection, but there is a rear access driveway that makes things easier.
The space is light & bright, making you feel like you’re in Ponsonby not next to an intersection with trucks bustling by.
There is a large selection of cabinet food (check out those doughnuts!), as well as a wide & varied menu.
Pictured is Go Green, which was huge, with light & fresh flavours. The coffee was strong & well made.
Will most definitely be back!

My family and I had an incredible experience at Woolfy's as we arrived for an early lunch. From the beginning, the staff were attentive and friendly, serving us with water right away, and the decor and atmosphere was so gorgeous and modern! The food was delightful from the beginning, as we tried two counter foods that were super freshly made. The donuts were light and not too sweet, and even people that refuse to ear feta loved the scroll. The coffee and house soda were also delicious and unique. The mains themselves were just as good. The hollandaise for the eggs benedict was so light and fresh with a touch of lime, and the smoked fish paired with the sauces were also amazing. Even something as mundane as mushroom on toast was to die for and so creamy but not sickening. Furthermore, the french toast was another example of a perfectly whipped but light berry infused cream with wonderfully made soft french toast that was caramelised around the edges. It wasn't too sweet or too rich, rather being really fresh and flavoursome. These are also some of the best fries I've ever tasted, so crisp around the edges but melt in your mouth soft inside, and had an amazing sauce to dip it in. The staff even gave the children a bit of freshly made candy floss which kept him quiet and entertained! Overall, there was a perfect balance of sweet and tart, rich and fresh, and texture and flavour. It was also very fairly priced for the amount of food you receive and we all left very full. Around East Auckland, there is absolutely no better cafe and is a must try!
My partner and I enjoyed our experience here. Friendly staff that were doing their best considering how busy it was. There was unfortunately a long wait on our food but it was worth it. The Fried Chicken with coleslaw and corn fritter was good - I’d only recommend more sauce and seasoning. The Burger was a joy to eat - I’d only recommend more mayo. I’m not a huge fan of fat chips but I was impressed with the way these were executed. Once more however I would accompany the dish with a saucer of aioli or tomatoe sauce. However I’m just being picky. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Newly opened gem in Highbrook, simply the best in the neighbourhood!!! The coffees are the BEST you could ever get in South/East Auckland! I ordered a fried chicken which comes with a corn fritter base and coleslaw on top, great combination! The french toast was the right sweetness and texture, with some rasberry whipped cream on top, what a great idea! Not to mention the beautiful environment and friendly service, ❤️ this place, being so close to home, it will definitely be my go-to place for coffees going forward! 👍🏻
The food is really good. Portions are quite large. Service was quick and efficient. The Schezuan eggs were really delicious, eggs had the perfect consistency. Partner says her french toast was good but dry.

We visited Woolfy's on saturday, it was a nice surprise. The food was tasty and well served. We ordered a few dishes, all were good.
Staff are nice and friendly. If you are planning to go for weekend brunch better call for reservation this place can be busy. Food was good i was a bit disappointed with their almond croissant it was not that crispy and taste like been in the cabinet for few days. Ambiance is cute with indoor or outdoor sitting.

Great food with a generous serving portion! I ordered the chilli eggs and they had the perfect amount of kick with a little bit of sweetness to it. Our waitress was wonderful and patient with our table's orders. My only feedback would be that I did not expect cinnamon to be dusted on my matcha latte. The drink was definitely green so Im sure it wasnt mixed up as a chai - however the cinnamon totally overtook any of the yummy matcha flavour I was hoping for. Please dont put cinnamon on matcha!
Very delicious food at this restaurant! Have been coming here for many years and the food has always been great. Didn't like being told that we would need to move tables if a larger group of people showed up at the restaurant, which made it feel like the restaurant favoured others over us.
Great coffee, great muffin, great smoothie. The banoffee French toast was really tasty and not too sweet, the poached eggs on toast were slightly overcooked, but overall this was such a good place for breakfast and brunch we could hardly fault it. Best breakfast ever!! Love this restaurant so much. The food was amazing 🥰 and tummy filling. Coffee didn’t hit me right, cause I know how my usual coffee should taste like ( Vanilla Cappuccino) otherwise everything else was great.
Amazing cafe! There's a lovely feel to the entire place. The cabinet food looks beautiful, and the food we ordered from the menu was delicious. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!
Great atmosphere. Situated in a busy industrial location but makes you feel like you're else where, away from all the noise. Great place to go for a quick iced chocolate or coffee. By far, my favourite place to go for iced chocolate!Excellent table service and great customer service. Servers make you feel welcome and comfortable. Other than the lack of car parks during busy hours this is a great stop for lunch or brunch.
Great location and plentiful car parks available. Always busy, helpful staff. Food is good, some portions are generous such as the Keto breaky. Tea is served very well with a small candle to keep it warm. Must try if one is in the area.
Awesome restaraunt with yummy food. Waiters are always keen to help and the Chefs are very respectful if they have forgotten something on the order.
Be mindful this place is quite popular so wait times for food can take longer than expected. Very well worth the wait though. 🙌👍
