Big thank you to The Lazy Graze Cafe in Eketahuna for the lovely brunch. Nothing better than supporting the local businesses. Lovely, friendly staff, yummy food, awesome quotes and home made gifts around the shop. Just my type of place. Thank you for reminding me how to have a lovely day with your beautiful quote on the wall

Thank you for the excellent lunch Dad and I had again today 😊 It's the 2nd time I've had the portobello mushrooms and it was perfect again! Same as the open steak sandwich meal I've had twice and it was brill both times, not to mention all the quiche tarts (especially the salmon/feta) - the food is consistently good and makes it easy to grab my faves and get back to work 😊 Dad reckoned today that we've got to eat our way through the menu on our lunch dates and try something different every time 😁 1 Q - do you cook black pudding? 😊

Very good food and warm and friendly service and greeted with a bright smile from all of the staff here. They have three separate dining areas at this lovely cafe you can either dine at the front of the cafe or there is another quieter dining area just off to the left of the serving counter or if you prefer it a lot quieter their is also an outdoor dining area for fresh air and sunshine on fine day's out the back of the cafe through a doorway from the second dining area. They also have toilets here for customers and if you have babies they also have a baby changing area out in the toilet area.

Great cafe. Friendly staff & nice food with generous portions. Plenty of places to sit indoors & a couple of wooden tables outside too. Recommend.

Amazing carrot cake, and the Avocado on bread, with bacon, eggs and feta is definitely worth the trip.

Friendly staff. Food was good. Nice coffee. Good selection of menu and cabinet food. Kiddie friendly with highchairs. A good place to "refuel" and relax on your trip. A nice country stop in a historic town.

A good range of food and reasonable coffee. The slice of lasagne I ordered from the counter was just that - no garnish, no frills, and while quite tasty, a bit overheated, so the base was a bit tough. A pleasant atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices and plenty of space. Really, what more could you ask for.

Fantastic place to stop! Good selection of Gluten Free items, Including the pistachio and ginger slice - which I’ll try to recreate :)

Have been here once or twice each year when passing through. Consistently good with friendly and helpful staff. Their service is normally quick. I'm finally posting a review because the food today was perfect for me: Ginger Pistachio Slice looked great and tasted better. Roast Beef Sandwich was tasty and fresh with carrot, excellent beetroot, cheese, lettuce, etc. Coffee here is good but not to my preference as I prefer creamier and more mellow. The only problem, still, is that the main door doesn't close automatically.

I liked this place a lot. But please don't reheat items from the glass case in the microwave. It just ruins it

Great place to have a break on our road trip north. We pretty much aim for it as our first stop even though only an hour and a half from home. Great menu and cabinet food. Plenty of parking and there is outdoor seating at the back too. Service was excellent as always.

We stopped here on our way through on the bikes when it was pouring with rain. It was warm, inviting and they didn’t mind the small puddles we left behind. The food was tasty and the coffee was good !!! If your on your way through it’s worth popping in 😊
