Double mustangs gotta be the best burger ever. Size, taste, texture, juicyness, it's just perfect
Ordered Ford Freakout with cheese on site and it was ready really quickly. Service was fast and nice and food was tasty as usual. They close the dining area so it’s only doing takeaway
My go-to burger place in Ellerslie and for burger fuel. Generally, they have done the burgers good with the odd slip-up. However, lately, they have been making the burgers without a hitch and usually ready when I go to pick up. Can get busy on Friday nights though and parking can get tricky.
This Burger Fuel Has got it going on! They are super delicious burgers and well worth the cost! The chips are awesome.. the chicken burger is superb so is the vegetarian! also love the kids meal!!!! Will go again
Same well made quality burger fuel made burgers. Can never get enough of Burger fuel aoli.
Staff always friendly and happy.
Smaller outlet with limited seating and can get a lil busy at the usual times but service is always fast.
Went here last night and got the bbq bacon roadster. It was delicious and the service was great and quick. The only bad thing was the burger was very messy to eat.
Shop is on the smaller end and nestled round the corner of the main ellerslie shopping area. Food came out super fresh and in minutes. Friendly staff too
No issues with Burger Fuel. Wasn’t the tastiest burger I’ve ever had, but I would say it was a good choice based on price to quantity of food. Good flavours and all around good food.
Absolute favourite burger joint. I always get the bastard burger and every time it's incredible. The aioli and fries is to die for and the chocolate shakes are a treat. Will always come back here
Burger goodness here! Burger fuel standards are pretty good, which ever branch you go to you'll definitely get the same quality of burger.
We ordered a Bastard burger, and a Burnout. I really enjoy the Bastard burger here, my love for Beetroot in sandwiches 😍 and I especially love love LOVE Burgerfuels kumara fries with aioli dip! So damn bomb you need to try it!
Burgers were made fresh and came out nicely done.
Love it, definitely know where to go to satisfy my burger cravings, and kumara fries craving haha
Had a quick stop at this Burger Fuel branch when I was going to work and took a Bastard for take away.
I was my first time at Fuel's actually, and I really liked the recipe, mixing sweet (beetroot and mango) and salty flavour.
The service was also very good, but I really think the meat wasn't good enough for this calling this a gourmet burger, as they do
BurgerFuel is BurgerFuel what else is here to say, the food is what to expect as in every other BurgerFuel. Staff is not extra ordinary friendly but not unfriendly neither. The only thing what makes me feel uncomfortable whilst eating is the extreme lound music sometimes. I know it is somehow part of the "branding" of BurgerFuel to have loud music in the store but does it really have to be as loud as in a club? People still would like to have a chat over their lunch :).
Had to wait a bit to get order taken - we were the only ones waiting to order. Seemed low staff for a lunchtime. But the food was good and prompt so overall pretty good!
This is a cheeky review of burger fuel simply for their outstanding chips called Spud fries. Not the most thought provoking name fir tge humble spud especially given the only fries I know of are actually made from spuds.
I not being one to review then review again a takeaway chain store id like to pass humble judgement not only on their continued excellent source of potato variety but also their aioli sauce that is unequaled for taste and smoothness. 5/5 obviously and no photo as I was driving home and stopped at Mexicali but couldn't resist what was next door.
My kids love the hamburginis [if I have spelt the name right] . A great serving size for kids, and staff are always friendly and always accommodate my girls food allergies. Maybe pricing is a little on the high side, but when you drive past and your kids ask for it, it must be good.
First time eating from this Burgerfuel was my recent lunch break at work. Ordered 10 minutes before my break via phone. Ordered the Peanut Piston? (one with Satay sauce).
Great service over the phone and at the store itself. Was ready roughly about 30 seconds after I walked in, and a bonus I got free "Smash Browns" for simply complementing the staff on how prompt and professional their service was.
Overall: after a change from your usual pizza/other fast food places? Try Burgerfuel Ellerslie: won't be disappointed.
I'm a newcomer to BF. I'd seen a few BF locations around but the name never really did anything for me let alone entice me in to sample the menu. While at Stoddard Rd, Mt Roskill I ended up in the local BF only because the neighbouring fast food restaurants were full and I didn't have the time to wait.
Glad I did. The Bacon Backfire was top notch. A large serving, the bun fresh and toasted just right, the "rabbit food" crisp and fresh and the char grilled chicken was succulent. I never thought fast food from a burger "joint" could be as good. The new menu offering of chips in a beer batter was out of this world.
The restaurant was bright, clean, and the service just great. A few days later, I chose the Burnout chicken at the Sylvia Park outlet - and received the same high quality food and service.
I'm at this site because I'm motivated to see if there's a BF close to me - and there is, at Ellerslie. I'll be trying them over the long weekend, and I'll post my response afterwards.
I visited again on the Sunday of Labour weekend, and we chose the Burnout chicken, just to compare with the same from the Sylvia Park BF. There was no difference in the offering between the two restaurants, and the same high standards were experienced at all three restaurants.
BF is great for consistency, high quality of presentation and staff, and value for money.
So I was a bit worried about going to this particular BF as the google reviews were less than stellar but I also didn't fancy a trip to another BF franchise as we wanted to eat our burgers here at home. I thought I'd chance it and thank goodness I did. Fast service, only a 10 minute wait for two combo meals. The place was pretty darn busy. Customer service was top-notch. The burgers were perfect and had a nice flame grilled taste to them; just the right amount of sauce too. The chips were cooked properly, a pale finish with golden brown edges, unlike some places who take the phrase golden brown to a whole nother level of OMFG and you end up with over-cooked fries.
So coming back here.
Having never been to burger fuel, I ran into this fast food spot because it was the only food outlet I could get a park. I thought it was going to be just another burger joint but I was very much mistaken. The Chicken was breast meat, the bacon was beautifully cooked and the sauce was just saucey enough and the salad was crisp, fresh and not overloaded. Not to mention the outstanding customer service from the owner of the store. I will certainly go back for more.
First impressions are everything and entrance and steps need a jolly good water blast. Inside a nice welcome from new guy, Gabe. Took my Mini Hamburgini w cheese, aioli and kumara fries home. Absolutely filling and delicious. Will return.
I love going to places where they don't throw the burger together from opposite sides of the kitchen. These good buggers actually take a bit of pride in their work, and their service makes you feel right at home. Spud fries are a little pricey - but that's a company thing, not a venue thing!
I'm a regular since I work nearby, these guys always deliver. Great food, great service, I'll definitely keep coming back.
The first time I visited the floors were nasty and sticky. I visited a second time and they were super clean, which is great. The burgers were really good compared to other burger fuel franchises.
The good food and friendly service has made Burgerfuel Ellerslie my regular take aways spot. I am already looking forward to coming back next week.
Mine and my sons fave place to eat! we love burgerfuel ellerslie, the food is always the best, the service is top notch. :)
When I first walked into the store I saw a beautiful man named Josh he was very kind to me and had excellent customer service
I always love going to Burgerfuel Ellerslie. Their food here is great as always great music and fantastic service from the staff. The chips and kumara are crispy, goes fantastic when dipping it in into the aioli sauce. The meat patty is darn juicy too!!
I think that the toilet needs some changes as they are lots of things in there making it a bit messy. But the toilet is clean though.
Josh had everything under control on a busy Friday night. Epic experience as always but you can see a leader!
BF ellerslie has been great, the staff are friendly and the burgers are also made very well
Always love coming to Burgerfuel. Great food as always, really fantastic service, and the atmosphere is always really fun. The chips are crispy and the chocolate shake is the best I have found in all of Auckland. A true thick shake, not the bad syrup and chemical nonsense. It’s a bit of a splurge when I take my girlfriend here, but I never regret it after I leave with a full stomach.

My 1st Burgerfuel experience and it was pretty good. Can't remember the name if the burger but it was the beef, bacon and avocado offering. Not cheap but it was a quality burger, well presented and tasty. My get back there again before we leave town...
First time eating at Burger Fuel. There was only one employee at the time who both cooked and served. She was very nice! As for the food, so good. Their smash browns are way better than BK's hashies. As for their burgers, very yummy and surprisingly the kid's size was pretty big with its portion. 10/10, would go again.
