Late a Sunday evening in October we turned of the road after driving for a few hrs exploring the coast.

We visited the Tin Hut the other Saturday had awesome experience from the moment we arrived Matt opened up the doors early for us early birds and we enjoyed lovely brunch/lunch menu, great staff, glorious Wairapara weather and the lovely out door setting which was enjoyed by my friends from Holland
Now under enthusiastic new ownership. Matt & Lisa are putting a lot of effort into making this a great Wairarapa destination. New menus are making an appearance and you can be sure of excellent service and a friendly welcome. Accommodation is excellent for a weekend stay.
Really nice pub. Had an English pub feel, and the food was 5 stars. Could have a better selection of beers and the decor updated.
