Fortrose Cafe - Fortrose - Photo album

Stopped in here for a cuppa on our way around the coast. Lovely clean bright well spaced seating area. Fabulous displays of arts, crafts and books for sale also. Definitely going back for lunch.
There's not many options around, which makes the effort and details of this place so appreciated. The staff is very friendly, and the cook is very friendly, and she makes a mean fish and chips. Hot food and clean facilities had us leaving refreshed, don't hesitate to stop by.

We were about to start the scenic drive at The Catlins near Invercargill and we chanced upon this incredible cafe. Clean with Rustic log house interiors , cheerful staff and the drinks they produced - ARTWORK. It was a refreshing experience. So if you are driving down from Dunedin to Invercargill
Pretty good coffee. I've tried kitchen food as well as from cabinet. No problems at all. Deffinitely would order again.
Excellent meals, great atmosphere, friendly service. Very filling and reasonable prices.
Situated right across the road from the beach. Was nice and warm inside. Service was cheerful and friendly. My food was fresh and tasty.
Cheese rolls and pumpkin soup were spectacular! And staff were very accommodating in providing a takeaway option
