We ordered ribs and chowder with the cocktails sex on the glacier and toblerone. The cocktails and chowder were perfect. I think the ribs could be a little bit better, but I'd still order them again any day. The meal and drinks portions were very generous. The music, lighting, general layout and decorations was very pleasant for me. Service was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or passing through.

What a place! I haven't been back to The Landing in a few years and it's just as I remembered it. Good atmosphere, good environment, good food, good service and an all round good time! The tap beer wasn't available when we went, wondering if it was changing hands or the taps were being cleaned? I had the lamb salad which was delicious, a massive serving and a bunch of lamb steaks - YUM! My colleague had the Seafood chowder and said it was one of the best he has had. My biggest regret is not going back for dinner or lunch another day to try it myself. Fortunately I'll be travelling over more so I can give the seafood chowder a go. Great place, great times. Also enjoyed a couple late night tipples and the place goes off! Worth a visit if you're in town!

Fun place with a great bar, nice menu, excellent beer, free popcorn, and superior service! We visited at 4:30 on Easter Saturday, and it was almost but not quite full, and we felt lucky to get a table. A bowl of popcorn arrived on our table seconds after we did. A couple of hazy IPAs were just the ticket, and we shared an order of fish and chips. The food was fine, though I would have preferred that the batter for the fish be light and crispy then instead off thick and a wee bit heavy. But it tasted good, as did the salad and chips it came with. Great place, all in all, and we were happy we came!

The hot stones menu is a must. We had the 3 meat in one; venison, lamb, and beef. Excellent choice. We had the stewed lamb, which was tender to the taste. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.

Shared supper sitting in the sun sipping soft drink and wine. Good service with an excellent range of tasty food at reasonable prices.

Those place is super cute. I think it has the best menu in town. The service is really fast and they bring you some delightfully salted popcorn. I definitely recommend the wedges instead of regular fries. They're so delicious!

Great evening at The Landing. We thought our late arrival may have limited our food choices as most places (including our hotel) finish food service early. We needn't have worried. The service was first class and the food excellent - especially the mussels.

We had a sunny spot on the terrace in the morning. I actually wanted to try their pulled lamb croquettes and they did not disappoint. On the contrary, it was the best thing I've had for a good while! They came in bigger than expected, the lamb is in fact shredded inside the mellow goodness and fried crispy on the outside. The salad on the side was the perfect complimenting side, these croquettes are heavy in every sense of the word. I did not like the plum sauce or whatever that was, but the mint jelly had a serious tang to it. It's just me but I hate savory food with sugar syrup which the aforementioned two were. Had a nice cold pint of cider with it, the whole thing was a fantastic experience.

They have a wide variety of choices but we both selected one of the pasta dishes. It was very good and the portion size was quite generous. Choose the bread option and you get 2 hot rolls with butter. The servers are all friendly and efficient. They serve you a small bowl of popcorn to munch on while waiting for your order to arrive. They have a few beers and one cider on tap plus some additional bottled beer choices. Also a rather extensive wine and mixed drink menu when you consider the relatively remoteness of Franz Josef.
