We eat Indian on out of towns trips & always rate them against Tamarind of Gisborne. None so far have come close!

Delicious food in a great indoor or outdoor restaurant . Service on entrance was awesome. Quick and welcoming. Entree was served quickly, although a little slow between dishes as the night progressed. Mains came out half an hour after we finished our entrees.

We loved the food and the customer service. We had asked for extra hot food and what we got was indeed delicious. The mango chutney was my favorite. It was finger licking good. We took chicken chilli and gulab jamus as a take away and both of them were amzing as well.
We ordered takeaway and the food was delicious!! Driver was really polite and they gave us complimentary poppadoms and extra naan. Definitely recommend!
