We saw they do Asian dessert and since they also offer yum cha, we met here for lunch to see how they are.
We were very happy with their fried squid, we agreed that this was probably the best dish from all we had ordered, the prawn and chive dumpling had a lot of filling and the turnip cake was not
Food was amazing, my friend and I both got the set menu hotpot, and we both couldn't finish it, so much for what you pay for. we added extra drinks, sauce, and more dishes, and split broth so it ended up being $56.50 each, which isn't bad for a full meal plus drinks. The dumplings were amazing, and
Nice foo and service . There is usually a long line so was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk in and order straight away. If planning to visit don't count on my experience prepare to wait a bit
Turns out you can get Chinese breakfast here! As far as I know this may be the only restaurant in Wellington that serves Chinese breakfast. Totally recommend it, great value for money and delicious. Also open Sunday apparently
Spicy Hot pot was great. The address and better foods. The owner Jane is always the best.
We stumbled on this restaurant for an early dimner while staying in windy Wellington at the start of our September holiday. It seems really popular with local business people. We really enjoyed the food. My prawn dumplings were beautiful, as were our rice and Signature Pork Belly Rice meals. Really
Excellent food. We particularly liked the boba and dessert options. Dumplings were a bit ugly to look at but tasted amazing, with a great filling to dough ratio. Chili oil and soy sauce as well. Green tea was wonderful and not too hot or cold. Nothing to complain about with the food. But it was very
The Dumpling Company has been relocated next door recently. It’s now much larger. Besides, there are some new dishes on their menu. I tried this hotpot and it was really nice.
Soo yummy. We were desperate for a meal at 9pm after getting off a plane. Great food, friendly service even if you have to negotiate non English speakers.
I would definitely come back.
We were not offered alternative cutlery and got the water ourselves. A few minor service isssues.
I am not a dumpling office do but these were very yummy cheap and the jasmine tea good. Could improve on cleanliness but for a quick stop and light lunch very good. Cost $
Very good range of food, it's not just for dumplings. Hot pot was a fun experience, but too expensive to do more than once, unfortunately. The baked and steamed custard buns are amazing.
Best pork buns ever!! Friendly staff, fantastic menu and value for money. Our most loved food stop in NZ so far
