Very good food menu and very very good coffee... all served in a comfy funky cafe setting so familiar (with retro formica tables 'n all) it feels 'kiwi-as' and homely. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Loved it!

Never have to worry whether the coffee is going to be a hit or miss or whether the staff making it are as good as each other. Best coffee on the Coast

Stumbled across this cafe for first time today. Lovely service coffee and food. Also dog friendly too which fot us just nicely. Looks to be the place locals go to catchup. Highly recommend 👌

Amazing cafe. I love all the colors, the happiness and the serenity that emanates from this place! Clean toilets, fast internet, stern but pleasant staff. Unfortunately their outlets do not work though!

Great vege curry wrap and coffee. Served by a very pleasant woman. Love that dogs are allowed in! I was greeted by a very cute, long-haired Jack Russell.

Took shelter in DP1 on a rainy day and had a great coffee and date scone. It's a quirky place, exposed concrete floors and formica style tables and retro decor which looked cool. Staff were friendly and I was even warmly greeted by some chatty locals which was a nice surprise! You don't get that in many other places. If you want a decent coffee and something good to eat, definitely stop by DP1 in Greymouth

Good start to flavorings, but didn't quite finish it off (not enough salt). Didn't remove the stem of the tomato before frying it and serving it on the grilled tomato with feta cheese on toast with basil pesto. Good coffee. Seem to use quality products and were friendly.

Fabulous coffee, friendly service and yummy food. 100% would come again. Definitely the best coffee I've had in a while. We ended up having a coffee and then taking another coffee for takeaway. Fantastic!

Quirky reasonably priced cafe within walking distance of the train station. Stopped by for lunch before getting on the train, was greeted by a lovely friendly lady at the counter, seated in a really fun and quirky seating area and served absolutely delicious food! Got the vegan burger and was probably the best vegan burger I've ever had! Will definitely go back if we're back in town and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bite to eat within walking distance of the train station.

Love this place. Idisyncratic retro feel to it. Cool fifties furniture which reminds me of a traditional Italian espresso bar. Great decor. My experience of the staff was all positive. I guess other reviewers just got unlucky. Good coffee. Clean toilets. Chilled music; not too loud. Good location too in an arty area close to the flood wall walkway. Check out the street art on and near this building. I'd definitley go back.

Coffee is good and the deco is quite artistic. In the back area there is a small playground for kids. Some handcrafted artwork hang on the wall for sale. The atmosphere is casual yet with attitudes. The staffs are friendly but pay little attention to the customers. Better go to the counter for any order or request. We stayed here for probably an hour. My kid loved this place. Coffee is good but the desert is a bit too sweet.
