Rooms are clean, very basic but great to stay for a night or two. Very handy to all amenities, walking distance to everything in town.
Have stayed here before and will again.
Great twin rooms for a motorbike road trip with.mates. Off street secured covered parking for our motorbike. Good bar. Less than 100m from Speights Ale House up the road for a great feed as well. Highly recommended. Not many motels have twin rooms for mates to share a room to keep cost down.

Clean and nice owners. It gets bit noisy in the morning, but if you are early risers, it would not matter. Good asian food available at the restaurant and they are very helpful, even served us after the closing time.
the service was fantastic , so welcoming friendly and professional, just as you would expect , the room was excellent infact we chose the cheapest option and were surprised to discover that it came with a TV, something we seldom had in the north island, the restaurant is great, lovely NZ style food
Great place for a beer! They have pool, ping pong and hockey tables. Amazing to spend time between friends.
very freindy would pop in again if we on the coast again we had hot chips a little small for 2 but were yummy and very hot.
