Very good iced coffee. Husband approved! Perhaps the only cafe I've encountered so far, using metal straws. Ordered their waffles and Aglio Olio with prawns. Waffles was good. The lemon curd are used sparingly and nicely spread out so it's not over powering. The pasta was flavourful.

Every road trip needs a good food stop, Scotts is the place if your roadie goes through Hamilton. Bloody good coffee and great food, including some great dishes with what I think is an Eastern European twist. Highly recommended.

Honestly the food here was really good but the service was not good. The waiter serving us came with food and put it on the table without saying anything. There was no “here you go” or anything, not even a smile either.
All of the food was delicious and friendly staff/service. Only thing I would say is we sat at the tables near the back of the cafe and could smell the dishwasher which wasn't very pleasant at times. Maybe sit outside or to the front of the cafe if you go.
