Lovely restaurant in the Novotel Tainui Hotel. Fabulous Eye Fillet Steak which you cut with a butter knifes. And the meat in the Venison Pie, melted in your mouth. As for the Chocolate Pannacotta, yum. Thanks to Mereana and Myana for looking after us on the night.
Went here for my birthday and we ordered the skirt steak and mascarpone filled bread rolls entree, pork belly with thai slaw and the steak on mash with mushroom rare. For desert shared the ginger and pear cake.

Nice place to have a relaxing atmosphere. It’s cosy with attentive staff. The location is convenient as there are plenty parking available on site. The food is nice but there is some room to improve.
Friendly, attentive wait staff with food served in a timely manner. Very well thought out dishes that were bursting with flavour. Great dining atmosphere with views of the Waikato river.
Food was great, service was friendly, and the ambience had an air of sophistication. The meal was a bit pricey ($127 for two mains, glass of pinot, side veges, and a dessert). The staff knew the specials and were easygoing yet professional.
Great selection of food for buffet breakfast. Children under 12 is free and $32 for adult at the time of writing. Clean environment.
Amazing experience once again at this fabulous restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by their friendly staff. Attending on us was Dom, friendly, approachable & made us comfortable.

Came here for lunch one day and the service was amazing. The servers were so accommodating and friendly. The food is also delicious! The service is definitely what is pushing me to come here again. Highly recommend to anyone wanting lunch or dinner!
Great quality food with friendly service.
However, there can be bit of delay in service which is understandable but would improved.
Had Garlic bread as starter Venison for main and Tiramisu for dessert.
Not 100% sure if entree and dessert is freshly made from kitchen but Venison was outstanding.
We've had dinner here many times and its consistently good! Even bar snacks and a drink after work are a real treat!! Great professional service and nice quiet atmosphere.
There is sometimes a wait for dinner but its worth it
I had an amazing Valentine's day dinner here. The server called Tayla treated us so nicely. Also while paying, my husband's phone had a problem with internet so could not use digital coupon, another server eased our panic and helped us out. I definitely visit here again.
2yrs after having our honeymoon at novotel we decided to return for dinner... wonderful service, the food arrived beautifully presented and considering they were pretty full our food arrived rather quickly... it tasted amazing.. big props to the chef 24th october 2016 and suprisingly well priced...
