One of my favourite cafes in Hamilton by far! They never disappoint, the staff is always super kind & accomodating. The food portions are great for the prices, not to mention their food is absolutely delicious! Quick service as well. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy. 11/10 recommend 😁

Get The Jacks Breakfast, it’s a feed and a half. You won’t be going hungry until well past a few hours after.
Eggs were cooked perfectly, the ciabatta was toasted beautifully. After a nights driving from Wellington, waking up to breakfast here was one of our best decisions.
Fantastic place for breakfast / lunch / brunch. Feels like most of the customers here are regulars. And it makes sense as the ambience and the staff are warm and welcoming. Came here with my cousins, we all ordered something different. We got the famed eggs benedict, the salmon bagel and their mushroom omelette. Everything was delicious and quite filling. We also tried some some of the cakes - the lemon and feijoa chocolate cakes were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit next time you're in the area!
Jacks does the best eggs benny in town. They don’t spare the horses when it comes to hollandaise sauce!! All my dreams come true in that moment. Attentive staff at the counter. Busy off their feet, doubt they will clear your tables in time but give them a break. No maitre’d present which is the norm I guess but would be welcome personality to such a busy cafe.
Love this place- big breakfasts are high standard- ice chocolate thingy was delicious. Lovely venue with a nice outside area but it is always quite a long wait here even for drinks but that can be forgiven because it's a nice place to dine all round
Had lunch today & was pleasantly surprised. Has a 'local suburban' feel, but the food was great. Served quickly and was very tasty. I had the Gash stack from specials board, wife had a chicken quesadilla which was also good. Coffee was a little cool but ok. Will definitely be back.
Came for breakfast this morning and was super stoked with everything. The coffee was good. The food was great, and a decent amount for the price! I had the vege breakfast which was massive and delicious. Loved the enivronment and decor, lots of seating too! Fast service. Worth a visit.
In short of being superhuman, this cafe met all my needs. Earthy, open, but classy atmosphere. Its more amongst a residential area which makes it great for easy parking and access. The coffee is good, but the food, atmosphere and service are excellent. There is always a lot of allergy friendly food. I ordered coffee and a sweet. The GF lemon delicious will blow your mind. It was perfectly golden on top, with delicious caramelised crunchy surface with the smoothest sweet, light and refreshing lemon centre. One bite per hour is a good pace to savour this crazy goodness. I'll be back. Thanks for being awesome.
This place is so so great. The coffee is always strong + delicious and the staff are always babes (which is a lil shallow of me but tis true). Had many breakfasts / burgers / salads here and they've always been on point. Only criticism is mayb a lil less mustard in the aioli but that hardly matters anyway. Kia ora Jacks!
Took my mother in law here for breakfast last week. We were greeted with a smile..always a good start. Nice counter food options ..ordered coffee and pancakes .. order arrived in good time dispite them being busy. Coffee had a good flavour was good temp which I enjoyed. Nice place to sit outside and the additions into the adjoining shop give this once small cafe a open and inviting atmosphere with a modern style. Well done guys we enjoyed our visit.
Haven't been here for a while but every time I hit Hamilton I always try my best to come by for breakfast. Service is lovely and attentive. The Food here is the typical café breakfast food but everything is always nicely done and I've never had a bad experience. They get my eggs Bene right too! One of my biggest pet peeve is when cafes don't seem to know how to poach an egg properly!
Went here for breakfast, the food was great with exceptionally fast service. Great meal options especially for gluten free. Will definitely be back!
Under new management. Went there for avo tea and a snack. Great food and service. Best thing is that I had a pot of tea and they had real tea leaves not tea bags as many seem to have now a days. I dont drink coffee. Generally tea drinkers get second best. Way to go Jacks.

Very busy place but the food comes out quickly. Coffee was really nice and hot. Loads of food to choose from- being a vegetarian there were plenty of choice! Would come back for sure.
Great coffee, friendly service and love the style of the place. Wasn't a fan of the granola but love the tomato and avo bagel and the berry crumble from the cabinet. It's my regular.

Jack's has the best coffee ever! I often sneak out durin the lunch hours at school for the coffee.. Smooth and aromatic, never fails to satisfy me :)
Their desserts are also tasty, but real emphasis on the coffee. Convenient parking too

The barista does the best coffee in Hamilton (Grace is a close second). The food is always delicious and is reasonably priced. As long as they keep doing what they are doing now, I will return.
Jacks and Graces are consistently good. In all the years since they opened we have eaten at both often and have never had a meal or a co fee that was anything less than perfect. Jacks has the best Batista ever!!!

Jacks has the best coffee in town (as well as Grace on Braid) and their vegetarian muffins...great on a sunny day like yesterday we sat in the sun, drank great lattes and hot chocolates and ate the gorgeous muffins...love Jacks

Hands down. It was so good I had to order another even though it was a warm day. Deliciously smooth, creamy chocolate taste.
Food was also fantastic, atmosphere was welcoming, great with children. Personalised service.

Jack's is the best cafe in Hamilton hands down. It also does the best eggs bene in NZ! The coffee is fantastic. The service is great. They really get to know the regulars. The decor is eclectic and refreshing.I live in Auckland now but make sure I go to Jacks when I'm down!

Visited Jack’s Coffee Lounge today, food and coffee was great - good price and very tasty. What impressed me most though was the way the staff quickly and kindly rectified my order (my latte arrived and was normal milk rather than oat milk) - much appreciated! Definitely recommend giving this place a visit 😁
Called for breakfast on 25/11/23 after finding Jacks Cafe on the internet. This place is superb. Great food, lovely staff and a great place to eat. Worth the trip out of town. Well done everyone and thank you for taking care of us.

Made a quick stopover at Jacks Coffee Lounge whilst driving from Auckland to Rotorua.
We ordered the Jacks Hash Browns and a Latte. Food was appetizing. The service crew were also very polite and friendly.
Jacks is one of our main stops for brunch when the mood hits. It’s great for a family group with something for most of us. The fussy one usually gets a hot chocolate and something from the cabinet. It’s good for the after school debrief too, when it’s teacher conference time or exams. They do a good coffee, have a fantastic selection of smoothies and the food is really filling and well priced. We had a birthday party here recently and they let us bring a cake in which was good. The style of the place is eclectic and fun. Staff are friendly.
Say you are driving from Auckland to Wellington and you are looking to make a pitstop for a good breakfast and coffee - highly recommend Jacks. It is a cosy place close to Hamilton and serves a large breakfast menu. I ordered a humble toast, hash browns and a vanilla latte - it was amazing. The place was full - yet the service was quick. Loved it. Will definitely stopover again.

My son and I been there twice the first time we arrived my son left his sunglasses behind or was it his hat? and the female staff went out of her way to return it to us finding us a little further down the path. ♥️
The second time we visited, it was packed out and the vibe from the all the people was like a good ole honest celebration. My son had the seafood chowder had I had the big breakfast. My son was full from eating it and those who know me know me well when I'm happy I EAT 😃 so cleaned my plate and what my son couldn't finish.
And the coffee with the heart 💓 shape was perfect to a T.
Great service. Quick service. Tasty coffee. Yummy food. Only suggestion would be to serve on warm plates so that food doesn’t get cold quickly.
Great food and coffee, ideally located on the corner of the Cambridge Road shops. Cabinet includes a nice selection of Toastie Sandwhiches and Cakes and Slices. Menu includes brunch and lunch favourites. I recommend the Chicken Quesadilla. For families there is a nice playground at the opposite end of the shops by the cycle track.
Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this place.
My first coffee in Hamilton. A $5 flatwhite, strong to the taste and temperature just perfect which is not scalding hot. A would give it higher mark if there are a latte art befitting it
