Best authentic Irish pub in the business, lovely owners, awesome staff, yummy cheap food. Great gigs, pets & kids welcome. Major 10/10. Cheers the biddy’s team ❤️
I visited Hamilton alone recently and popped in to Biddy's for a pint and a bite to eat. I was delighted to be greeted with a smile from the friendly staff. Before I knew I was sitting with a group of locals (Irish, English, Scottish... you name it) and I was made feel at home straight away. It was great to be served 'proper' pints of Guinness in NZ.I had the chefs open chicken sandwich which I highly recommend and their curry chips is a must too. The live music was great. One night they had a very entertaining quiz followed by karaoke which was such a laugh.I will be back to Biddy's without a doubt next time I'm in the Tron
After not visiting Biddy's for several years, I was seriously impressed on a recent night out there.
I had the beef burger and my girlfriend had the nachos - both were great! And the rest of the menu looks good too. The staff were friendly and the live music was excellent.
I'm glad to see a pub out of the Hood Street area putting on a good night for their patrons. I'll definitely be back.
Had a surprisingly great meal at "Biddys" the other night. New chef and the food was fantastic. Great music to boot.
The staff were very welcoming and casual but professional.
Food selection was broad but was told that the menu is an interim menu pending the arrival of winter.
The staff offered a great food and drink choice although the wine selection was a bit lacking.
I would thoroughly recommend the experience and was really surprised a genuine Irish pub could serve up such a fine dining experience.
What a great live music afternoon we enjoyed whilst visiting from Australia. We were treated to 5 bands hosted by the Hamilton Blues Society. We ordered the Guinness pie and it was great. So pleasing to see good local live loud music. Thoroughly recommended.
My brother and his band mates " under pressure " played there, and it was the most enjoyable night I've had for some time, not to mention the bar was full of whanau and friends, so much awesomeness 😀 👍
I come just for the abuse an amusement.
Foods amazing and always changing menu. Chef is hot, some bar staff are 2 beers Shor of a 6 pack but they're cute.
Know how to poor a decent drink.
6/5 ☆ HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We had the most amazing time, listening to 2 talented live bands, and raging with the most friendliest strangers. Thank you for a memorable night. We will be back.
This place rocks. I got married up stairs in the Attic Bar. My wedding was their first wedding, recommend them for everything thanks Bridget
Great place. Staff great. Live and The JLB are awesome.
Love your Piko Gin. Great job
Visit every year for St. Patrick’s day. Always a busy day, but the breakfasts are always on point. This year they had black AND white pudding. Epic. Small front of house and minimal street area but decent area out back.
Cool place! Great staff, super friendly and welcoming. The outside seating was nice and warm because of the heaters. Sadly one star has been deducted for the undercooked squid (which came with an overly generous amount of coleslaw, not necessarily bad but a bit odd and not something you would expect with squid I thought).
Super nice staff and management! The karaoke evening was amazing and had a lot of talents to offer. Beer is good. A cool pub where you can have some fun!
I enjoyed the atmosphere, music and food!
