This place makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, people working for the community and helping artists, potters, and creatives get their names out and be seen. All under the umbrella of a cafe, but it is so much more than that. The food and people are absolute stars! The menu is world class and presented so well. The building is loaded with character and it is just so fun and cozy. Today I had an iced mocha and the big breakfast. The karage chicken was juicy and succulent and ever so yummy. The sausage roll was delectable. The portions were generous, and it is great value for money. Treat yourself and go and visit these guys!!!

Warm inviting atmosphere.. Very nice coffee, tasty meat pie, well made pastry! Good parking space, easy access for wheelchair or limited mobility persons. As a first time visitor I was impressed. Have recommended Ethos to folks who were unaware where it was. Thsnk you.

Great service. Querky cross between Sunday school tea and biscuits and a classroom. Lovely eggs on 5 grain toast and probably one of the best presented capuchinos being beautifully gloss white froth. I felt kitchen food was well priced but cabinet food was far too pricy. $8 for a slice is $2 above town prices. Maybe look into this.

A hidden gem with plenty of Ethos. Literally! Nourishing, tasty food, great coffee with a retro, arty, inclusive community vibe. Find your inner zen and relax a while.

Great service and chai! The gf vegan raw cheesecake was lacking in sweetness and isn't something I'd try again, but I hadn't been disappointed in the past and it's good to see a bunch of allergy friendly options! Cabinet could label the foods better though.

"Ethos" the hidden gem. I highly recommend this cafe for the coffee, food, service, and more importantly what it stands for. We were greeted with a warm and inviting welcome and smile. The coffee was fantastic rich and smooth with a good hit. The decor suits the vibe perfectly. A sort of eclectic mix of old and new that made you feel a sense of belonging and relaxation. I also really enjoyed the soulful mix of music that wasn't over powering but rather put me in a mood of wanting to sing along and dance but also gave me an emotional connection to the place. I had the mince on toast with a poached egg and it was a 10/10. It oozed home grown love of a New Zealand classic which made me want more. My wife opted for the vegan pancakes and was not disappointed. I definitely will be back and have not stopped raving about to my friends and family.
