My mum and two young daughters had breakfast here this morning. It was AMAZING! Our waitress was so friendly and kind. She gave my daughters marshmallows and biscuits on tiny plates which they just loved and I thought was so nice. The food was absolutely delicious! The kids meals were big and well cooked but we’re cool enough for the girls to eat when it reached the table. My Mum and my meals were awesome. We will definitely be back.

Nice coffee and lovely service. We go here regularly for takeaway hot drinks. Some of the cabinet food is a bit hit and miss (savoury crepes filled with nothing but salty ham, no veggies) but many things are very nice and there is a great gluten free selection.

Came here with a friend while we waited for our laundry to dry. I remember coming to this place when it was Cypress Tree. The staff were friendly. Prices were a bit high for the cabinet food. The lady forgot to give me my slice so when I went up to tell her after my coffee she was so apologetic and she gave me 2 extra things from the cabinet. Great stuff

Brunch for two on Easter Monday.

This place used to be the Cyprus Tree restaurant, right opposite KFC in Hamilton East!  Nice corner cafe with a good amount if room inside.  Pleasant interior.

Food has a good range of GF options which pleased  my partner heaps!  Cabinet food was good, and appeared to all be made on premises.  The food we chose was well cooked and presented.

Staff were pleasant and they made the effort to be thoughtful.

No reason not to give it a good score.  Recommend a visit if you're in the area.

This quaint cafe, located right at the end of Grey Street, offers the experience of a restaurant and a great cafe. The two of us visited for a breakfast and we were not disappointed. Their Monster Breakfast was well cooked, prepared in time and was a scrumptious start to our day. The fact that they were able to provide us gluten free muffins and bread options was great as my breakfast companion is a health fanatic and was pleasantly surprised to see such a wide range of GF products. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the cafe is fairly spacious and the outside area is somewhat shaded so sitting outside did not mean we get cooked by the sun. Overall this quaint cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch and a wide range of healthy food options which guarantee that I will be returning soon!

Friendly, clean and spacious, this cafe offers a selection of classic cafe dishes including all day breakfasts as well as some tasty Asian cuisine like bao buns. Cabinet foods include hot and cold selections if you are in a rush. A great place to relax away from the busier Hamilton East shops. They also offer outdoor seating.

Another day eating out. In Hamilton for Basketball Nationals. Went to Grey St, picked this place to eat at. Good service, good coffee, nice food, reasonably priced. Brought some coffee beans are a bit expensive, $14 for 250grms but nice beans. Wanted to support a local cafe rather than good ole Mcds.

The staff here are always friendly. They have a pretty good menu and they are always very busy. They have a cabinet of food too though I haven’t tried anything out of the cabinet. They have a good selection of gluten free items as well, which although I haven’t got an intolerance, I know it’s important to have options for some people who need them.

Really great service here and I return because the prices and quality are just right. The ladies here make a lovely string flat white, nice cabinet slices and a very comfy place to meet a friend or pop in by yourself. Very clean and well presented cafe. Seems to be a great spot for mums and seniors, nice environment, and not noisy or too busy.

Staying down the road over the weekend for a sporting event, I made LK Coffee Hub on Grey St my morning espresso stop two mornings in a row. On both occasions being an early-bird riser, the cafe was very quiet with only a small number of clientele, but they all seemed to be regulars and known by name to the server / owner which is always a good sign. The interior is basic, modern, nothing too distracting or quirky, a standard representation of what a contemporary New Zealand cafe should feel like. The same can be said for the cabinet food and selection on offer, the staple slices, paninis and pies all made on premises and looking quite enticing. LK Coffee Hub has a focus on gluten-free preparations, so these items were well represented. I found my long black coffees to be well-made, which kept me returning for more. Unsure of the roastery / beans they use but it was a smooth blend with a pleasing nutty bitterness in the finish. On my first visit I also enjoyed a fresh homemade cheese scone which was just about bang-on; I prefer my scones with a little more crispness in the crust however the interior was the perfect fluffiness and cheesiness I had been looking for. Yum!

I can’t speak for any of the other preparations on offer but I believe I’d be enticed to return to try them out if I lived local.

Delicious coffee. Yummy food in display stand (and later in my tummy!) Good, welcoming ambience. Friendly staff, who are enthusiastic and helpful. Yes, I'll be back! ☺️ Yes, there have been changes: the decor and apparently the management. Still welcoming, still delicious coffee, still very pleasant, and cheerful staff. It is now called De Bakehouse and Café. I'll be back!👍😂☕

A pretty quiet cafe, the waitresses and boss are very nice and friendly. I like the 200 years old tree infront of the cafe.;)

In a large (read bucket!) flat white, they put in a third shot of espresso so that it's still the right strength. They have lots of Keto & Gluten free options. The food is fresh & absolutely fabulous, & the service is great. My new favorite!

Have always liked this place, plenty of variety and gf options. Coffee is nice and staff friendly. This visit though, none of the staff were wearing masks. Bit of a let down to be honest. Don't know if it would make me think twice before going back, as I can still wear a mask there, but it does make me question whether they take other rules seriously too. Just a thought.

Lovely staff and little cafe. Unfortunately, not many vegetarian or vegan options which limits customers but a good selection of gluten free options available.

Best coconut mocha I've ever had! The smashed avo was very nice and the pumpkin sauce stuff was original. My son very much enjoyed his mince on toast which I taxed a bit of and I can see why.
