Such a great find in Hanmer Springs! We had just finished a session at the hot springs and were wondering what to grab for dinner. After a quick google search, we found Springs Pizza and called ahead to order a Pepperoni Pizza. We then headed over to pick up our pizza (just a quick walk away from the hot springs).
Once the Pizza was ready, we sat on the swing bench right next to the store and promptly proceeded to devour the entire Pizza in less than 10 minutes! The pizza was so good that we ended up ordering another one. We are not big fans of BBQ sauce on pizza, but when we saw that the BBQ sauce was home made, we had to try the Meat Lovers. Safe to say, we also quickly demolished the second pizza!
The pizzas are thin crust style, with a great balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. There is also parmesan cheese, chilli flakes and oregano avaibale to sprinkle on the pizzas.
We will definitely be back to get more pizzas upon our return to Hamner Springs!
Best tasting pizza in New Zealand and even better service to go along with it. My husband and I walked up and ordered a pizza at 3pm, not realising that the shop didn't start cooking until 4pm. Instead of making us wait until 4, the amazing owner started cooking it once the ovens had warmed up and it was ready by 3:30pm. Highly recommend
Springs Pizza is without a doubt, the best pizza we’ve ever had. Saw it had some hype and decided to give it a try, absolutely killer. We got the meat lovers, the toppings and sauce were amazing. A+, 5*. If you love pizza, legitimately great pizza, go here.
Had the hawaiian . About 25min wait as I order on arrival and he had several orders ahead. Was well worth it. So fresh and bloody tasty. 3 yums up from me..
So good and tasty, we had Hawaiian pizza and finished within 5 mins. Expected wait time is 16 mins. Definitely come back!

My partner and me got the BBQ chicken pizza here on Sunday and it was amazing. It's probably one of the best pizzas I personally have had in NZ. The tomato base sauce was incredible! I was honestly so blown away by it. Definitely call ahead to order as there may be a bit of wait but it's so worth it!
I could say it's the best pizza in all of Hanmer Springs, but that's porbably not that of a huge statement as I'm pretty sure there are not that many pizza places around. So I'll say it's one of the best pizzas I've had in NZ so far.
Great little place, with a reasonably sized and very tasty pizza, for a fair price. Great service too. :)
Always such a treat to indulge Springs Pizza delicious, authentic and oh so real creations. They're all great, however I lean to salmon deluxe and vegetarian. As a well travelled local home owner I will definitely support these guys 🍕🇮🇹👌

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had in New Zealand! The owner was very kind and helpful with cooperating around my allergens. Pizza tasted delicious and was a great way to end the day in the hot springs. Will be back!
We ordered 4 pizzas. Great response on allergy and dietary requirements (our son has anaphylaxis to nuts) and no onions and GF on another. Forewarned about wait time before order. But not too long considering a busy Saturday, but also ready bang on time. Unfortunately the base's were a bit hard and heavy. Maybe the hot day prevented the dough from rising. Also bit much tomato sauce for me but toppings generally really good. Had run out of salmon and was recommended meatlovers. I was pleasantly surprised, the Bbq sauce was great.

We ordered 4 pizzas, Pepperoni, Meatlovers and 2 BBQ chicken. They were all delicious, but the BBQ chicken was definitely the favourite. The leftovers were even delicious cold the next morning. Stated wait time was accurate.

The guy behind the counter seemed a bit gruff, but I put it down to him being so busy...
We had the plain cheese pizza and it was absolutely devine!!! A very thin base and all the toppings went all the way to edge. It was the best tasting pizza.that we have tasted in years. So you must go there and sample it.

Best pizza, when we go for a weekend away to Christchurch we always stop in for one night just for pizza and a soak in pools. By far the best food in hanmer!!! would recommend to everyone , good price for good ingredients!
He said he made great pizza which I thought was a pretty big claim. BUT he seriously undersold himself. This wasn't just great pizza... it was the best pizza I have ever had!
