We went for my friend’s birthday and REALLY enjoyed the service and wholesome food!
Every dish we had was perfectly cooked and the presentation was amazing! My son was happy with his kid’s meal offered by the lady which is not on the menu. Super friendly staff and outstanding service! Highly recommended and will definitely comeback to try the other dishes on the menu.
Beautiful meals and exceptional service. Loved my blue cod dinner special- and seemed everyone else did too as I believe every table after ordered the same. Crème brûlée was silky smooth and had the perfect crunch on top. Empty plates were never on table longer than a few minutes, and the table was checked on the perfect amount. Would recommend to anyone wanting a high quality dining experience.

Nice place to grab a meal when in Hanmer. The staff were very friendly throughout and were happy to have a little chat as opposed to just delivering your food.
Speaking of, the food was very tasty with good sized portions. I was full so couldn't finish my meal and the owner checked if I didn't like the meal, but it was just that I had no more room! It was nice to see someone making sure that the meal was up to scratch. I can tell they would take any feedback gladly.
We dined during covid-19 level two and they were following the correct protocols to keep everyone safe.

Took my partner out to dinner for her birthday. We were greeted warmly as we walked in and the service from there on was brilliant. Only overshadowed by the quality of every single item bought to the table. The food was exquisite and masterfully cooked.
Idol banter with the friendly staff, we mentioned in passing why we were out for dinner and my partner's desert came out with a birthday candle in it and "happy birthday" written on the plate in chocolate.
Great restaurant, staff are amazing so helpful with changing items around to make dinner dairy free, much appreciated. Meal was delicious especially the mushroom pate - next level...
Fantastic food from a very very talented chef and support staff. This young man really is out the gate with what he serves up and presents. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. A little getaway in Hanmer Springs. Fresh & local food, beautiful wine list, and great service. It's a pleasure to discover a place serving quality vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend the place.

Enjoyable meal. I had wild goat entree then pork main. My wife scallops with pork belly then lamb main. Desert was chocolate orange fondant. We both found the pork on the dry side but other than that no complaints. Lamb was devine as was the fondant. Staff were friendly. Will be back.
