Spice Village - Hanmer Springs - Photo album

Dined in for the first time as a family. Ordered the lamb chop and prawn entrees, then butter chicken and mango chicken for mains with plain Naan and roti. Everything was good! I really liked the peanuts to snack on before our food arrived =D
Very good Indian food - the prawns as a starter were delicious, and both curries ordered were very good (including the portions size). Service could be a bit better as we were left seated for a while with no menus before someone realised that (I guess it was just a bush night)
Such a delicious menu, we ordered the Chicken Noodles, Chicken Tikka and Saagwala to share and everything was amazing. Perfect amount of spice. Presentation was lovely. Big portions and great value for money. Highly recommended.
Delicious food at a very beautiful restaurant 😍 The staff are extremely friendly! The mother-daughter-duo, Catherine and Anika are so lovely ☺ Highly recommend the curry chips! 🍟 πŸ”₯
I'm a big fan of Indian food & was not disappointed. Really enjoyed sharing the bhaji bites with tamarind sauce as starter. Also loved my tamarind fish curry - not often found in restaurants, but a favourite which I used to cook from a Rick Stein recipe. Highly recommended - fresh, tasty, generous p
This is really great dinner. The food was delicious. Place is very clean. Service was great. This has to be my favorite Indian restaurant so far. Will be back to try some other dishes πŸ˜‹.
Very good food, my partner said it was the best Indian food she has ever tasted. Just needed a bit more rice.
WOW. We tried the curry chips after seeing reviews. Amazing, but it meant I needed a takeaway for my equally amazing Lamb Bhuna Gosht. My husband had Zafrani chicken Masala. Again, amazing. I seem to be repeating myself, but I can't help it. The service was very prompt, very friendly, and meal port
We were recommended to go for dinner while we were visiting Hanmer and man am I glad! My partner and I absolutely loved the food, the service was fantastic, every person we encountered was so kind. If you go, please get the curry chips, I’m still thinking about them and it’s been a week πŸ˜‚
I am not one for reviews, but I just can't get over how fantastic every element of this experience was. I have been recommended Spice Village by several people from all walks of life and I finally decided to give it a go. I can see why!! The Naan bread was everything!! I've never had such crispy naa
