Food was all great, waitress and manager were both very helpful and polite when 2 people in our party had a query about altering one of the deserts they were serving
This place has become my new go to Indian takeaway. Very flavoursome curries. It can be a bit hit and mis, but %90 of the time it is a hit. Thank you for adding to the takeaway paradise that is Lincoln road.
Nice and relaxing environment to dine in. Nice and helpful staff. Mango chicken curry is delicious and must get the cheese naan bread!!! So good. Mango lassi was yum too!
This is a very good Indian restaurant and i love to eat the food here. me and my friends had nice dinner hereĀ We orderedĀ Panner Tikka masala and sahi panner and other non veg curries. Food was awesome and staff was quick and courteous. But the best part was theĀ architecture of restaurant, furniture and big window panes and the lamps which was attractive. enjoyed alot with my friends and i will recommended other people . It has good value of money. The staff was friendly. AND HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

This place does the best butter chicken I have ever had, super creamy and you get heaps of meat. They have the same pricing as most other Indian restaurants I have been too.
Staff is friendly and food is good. They have lunch and dinner special between Mon to Wed which is pretty good. It's a spacious restaurant hence good for large groups.
Great ambience and good, tasty food. The staff were also friendly and overall service was in point. My only concern is for the price, the quantity of food wasn't exceptional.

I went there tonight with two of my friends and I can honestly say I'm impressed with everything. The curry was amazing and the way the food was presented was beautiful.
The restaurant had a nice roomy but relaxing vibe to it. I'm surprised I've only just come here but I highly reccomendnit.
Only downfall was some customer service needed work and I say some because while others were friendly and pleasant, others needed work. Overall happy customer and if you want a good curry out west. Come here!

Ordered $140 worth of food as takeaway, loved the simplicity of their website it was so convenient ordering online as you can browse through the menu and add the food as you go.
Food was amazing!! Ordered a selection of curries, naan and popadums which were amazing! Gravy was thick and not watered down, great spices however the only downfall would be the amount of meat and prawns provided as this did not balance with the amount of sauce. Best I would recommend would definitely be their fish curry and tandoori chicken!!
Best Indian place in West Auckland the food tastes very authentic and has amazing flavour to it . The mango lassi was a let down it tasted a bit funny and not authentic like it was siting there for a while

Nice resto with a nice setup. The place to go when you miss India spice. The resto is clean and spacious. The first visit was just nice and had a great experience. Service is good, waiting time is okay. Ordered the platter as an entree and it was delicious. Had sagwalla, vegy curry, naan and chicken tikka with rice. All just great and taste great. Punjabi Kitchen is the best Indian food I've had in Auckland. I'm not usually compelled to write reviews but a recent experience with another Indian restaurant in the area has made me realise just how GOOD Punjabi Kitchen is! Ā I usually have Vegetable Jhalfrezie, but last night I also tried Karahi Paneer, and OMG that was delicious! Ā The only thing I find disappointing is the Raita - it's just not "zingy" enough for me. But that's the only reason I'm not giving a 5 rating. :-)
We have been here a few times as it is local on Lincoln Road. The decor is nice and updated with different indoor seating arrangements depending how many in your party. We got two different curries, naan bread selection of 3, and chips. I know chips is not an Indian cusine but I still appreciate that they had it on the menu as me and my partner like to dunk our chips in the curry. We will be back to this estabilishment.
Had lunch today with my wife and children. We ordered salted lassi, mango lassi n KF beer followed by mixed platter. Service was excellent and the starters arrived in no time. For main course we ordered lamb saaghwala, butter chicken n special punjabi chicken curry. Food was really tasty and staff extremely polite and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant for consistently serving good quality food and top service even when the restaurant is really busy.

It's a solid good eatery, I mean, if your Indian ethnic work colleagues told you it's a pretty good place to have Indian food, then it is THE place to be. They offer cheaper price at lunchtime but the service & food standard are still high. The dishes are very flavoursome and it's worthwhile to try their appetizers if you are sharing between a group of people, especially the seekh kebabs, it's very nice.

We ordered takeaway, spicy butter chicken, paneer curry in cashew sauce and two garlic naans. Butter chicken was the best I have had from a takeaway restaurant. Full of flavor, thick and chicken was cooked perfectly with nice chargrilled flavor. Naans were amazing with fresh garlic flakes and paneer curry was good ( a little on a bland side comparing to butter chicken)

Punjabi Kitchen was our choice for dinner after our cinema date. We were welcomed into the restaurant, and I was straight away impressed with the size and simple-yet-royal ambience.
I decided to order a Punjabi curry with Naan, whilst my fiance ordered fried fish.
My dish was pleasant and not overloaded with cream which I've seen too many times. The spices were sufficient and the Naan was flawless.
The fish was good, but not great. The marination was quite plain which let down the fresh fish.
I enjoyed Punjabi kitchen, however they are slightly pricey compared to similar Indian restaurants.
Best butter chicken and butter prawn ever. The garlic naan and garlic & cheese naan were really good. Been here 3 times and food has always been delicious and service good. Entrees are really tasty too! Tried their Mango chicken and malai tikka and chicken korma and all were delicious, especially the malai tikka. My new fave though is the butter prawn!
Hubby and I love eating out and we love curry so Punjabi Kitchen has topped our places to go. Our kids also enjoy the food although there is not enough entertainment for them. Perfect. My partner and I ordered chicken korma & butter chicken delivered straight to our front door and it was delicious. Our garlic naans were a little soggy but being delivered I didn't make much of a fuss about it. They were still really tasty. Definitely will be buying more food from Punjabi kitchen again.
Great food, great delivery service (was even early), took into account my dietary needs (vegan) and were very polite and nice. I initially wanted Thai food but couldn't find anywhere to deliver especially on queens birthday weekend. Came across Menulog then Punjabi Kitchen. Again delicious food and I am over the moon that they took in my dietary requests/requirements. Will definitely go there again! :D
Very nice setting, spacious, not jammed in tight like most restaurants. Food was amazing, entres were amazing, the Chicken Tikka was deliciouso!!! Got a few mains and just spread around the table. Service, was great. The mains took a little longer than expected to come out, but the quality makes you forget all about the wait.
Food here is excellent! I ordered their Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. Really good! You can't compare it to other Indian Restaurant's Tikka Masala. Serving size less than what you get from other indian restaurants, but quality is the best!

Well I must admit as we entered the restaurant, we saw that the restaurant was pleasantly decorated.Ā Quite nice and spacious too.Ā Appears to be quite clean.
The service was as expected, nothing to complain about.Ā
As for the food, I must say they were good and tasty.Ā Will definitely return for a taste of other dishes.

Hidden gem in Henderson. We tried the traditional butter chicken, beef vindaloo, mango chicken all good. Masala lamb was a bit salty but otherwise good texture. Will come again.
Since their re-branding we have found this to be one of the best Indian restaurants around, food is always good, service is awesome. Comfortable surroundings and very clean

Decent curry joint. I liked the kebab platter and butter chicken here. Their service is also good. They were kind enough to accommodate a large group of 10 and keep the kitchen open late just for us.

Very very good food and service. Have ordered quite a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes from here and they all taste great. Service staff is also very friendly. Only reason not to give a 5 is the wait on dishes.
We're Lincoln Rd locals and this is our regular curry place.The food is consistently great, lots of meat in the curries and fantastic value for money especially the $10 Mon-Wed deals. The restaurant is very clean and the staff friendly. What's not to like? Nothing really. It's not spectacular Indian food but it's darmed good, every time.

Came here for a $10 main and found it very filling, I wish there was more chicken peices but hey, thats just me. I will definetly go back here they were friendly too, it was quiet the time i went in but was definetly getting more custom as time went on.

Came here for dinner. Service was very good. Wait time for food was not too long. Food was very well portioned and left us feeling full and good before we finished it all. Customer service was well. Was always checked on to make sure we are not needing anything else. Good place for a nice quite dinner.
I have only had takeaways from here and it is always delicious. They are very consistent and generous with the amount of meat in the curry.
I have tried the butter chicken, korma, saagwala and malai kofta. All of them delicious.

This place is starting to become a regular for me and my mum, friends and colleagues! Amazing Indian food, the garlic naan is the best I have ever had- full of flavour and just perfect! The butter chicken is the best I have had also and is so much better than the places I have been to and in the shopping malls! This place really needs more exposure as when I have been its not busy at all which makes you question things.. And considering the size of the restaurant you would think it would be pumping. I will definitely keep letting people know about this awesome restaurant and will keep coming back for the best Indian food ever!
Great Food. It used to be another name last time we were there. We had lunch, paid $10.00 for Butter Chicken, RIce and Naan. It was plenty of food for one. Not your usual 10.00 special and get half of the food as another Indian Restaurant couple of hundred meter down the road. We also ordered the Entree mix platter for 8.00 and it was very good. The green Sauce(Don't know the name of it) was very refreshing to eat with the Tandoori Chicken.
I cant say its authentic Indian Food as I haven't been to India, BUT its way better than Shopping Mall Indian Food, that's for sure.
As long as they keep price and quality I will be back many times.

Restaurant is very clean and spacious. Staffs are very friendly. And the food is amazing. Definitely one of the best restaurants for Indian food. Prawn chilli is amazing. And I loved chicken Biryani. Very well impressed by the food.
