bacon n egg 2/5, not a very nice pie
stake n cheese 3.5/5, stake pieces are not that big
éclair 4/5, I like the cream but not a fan of the cholate icing

Best bakery in the Whangarei area. Fresh baked goods. Fish pies (my favourite). Lots of food choices, savoury and sweet. Excellent park across the road. We always have breakfast here when we are travelling south. Worth a visit.
There is always a queue. That's a good thing.
Love this place. Everything is yummy and the ladies are friendly they even have mini lamingtons with fresh cream... perfect size for a special toddler treat!

I would love to give this place an update from my last review. As per my last review. This place is my favorite bakery. Obviously due to the awesome proper bakery food. But it's the awesome friendly staff. Thanks Sharon, Jenny, Florence and to the others that I have missed. You guys are Amazing ❣️.
A great little bakery. Lovely breads and sweet things. Very low prices. Great friendly service. Only slight complaint is that they don't have a loaf cutting machine.
As I was going thru Hikurangi. I thought I would call into Hikurangi Home Cookery. The selection of baked goods was awesume, sweet and savouries galore!.
