Food was really nice, and really well priced also - to our surprise, considering the location and the amount of visitors. Very good service and really friendly staff, it's not easy to deal with such an influx of visitors on such a frequent basis, and they seem to know the drill blindfoldedly. Thumbs up all the way!

The $6 custard cronut (custard filled croissant donut) was delicious! Plenty of custard, not too sweet, and crispy. Friendly staff. The line may look long but it goes by quickly. It was interesting that the other donuts were the same price as the cronut since usually cronuts are more expensive than donuts.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. The extra dessert I had had while my friends were all joining the movie tour is so yummy.

just got a hot chocolate here, but they have a great system where you can pick any table and put the number disk they give you in the middle, stack multiple if needed, and they’ll bring your orders over when they’re ready! it’s a big space with lots of seating and decorated walls

I was shocked by how good the food was from the cafe. The Bacon Eggs Bene was phenomenal, the staff was kind and attentive, and the wait wasn’t very long at all. My only knock against the place would be that the atmosphere of the cafe isn’t themed quite as well as the rest of the experience.

The cafe was a great place to chill with a coffee and cake before your Hobbiton tour, or get lunch there. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the service was fairly quick. They had a good range of Gluten free foods (savoury and sweet) which was great for our daughter ! Also good toilet facilities. Overall, very impressed.

Just fantastic. A life size set used in the filming of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. You can enjoy a cider or a beer ( among other things) and get a snack. The carving of a great dragon looks good. Entry is included in your tour ticket. It is also the setting for the evening feast, which was BRILLIANT. Tickets for the feast are of course, much more expensive but include 2 tours of the village, one at twilight and one in the dark where each guest has their own lantern

The cafe is the first stop in the Hobbiton Tour, a good space to spend sometime waiting for the bus. The food and the is good.

The Shire's Rest Café is where all the Hobbiton adventures begin. The food and drinks here are reasonably priced despite being such a popular attraction. We ordered a tasty flat white coffee served in a special paper cup, and it was served quickly. The staff is friendly and always reminds guests to check in downstairs before their trip starts. It's these little details that make the experience even better. Whether you're a huge fan or just curious about Hobbiton, the Shire's Rest Café is a great place to grab a bite and get ready for your amazing journey.
