The portion for Big Kiwi can be improved given the price($24) for value. Cappuccino which we ordered was not that flavoury and strong/rich enough. Pie taste was good. The atmosphere was good tho.

Just a lovely little cafe that serves up great food and coffee. Friendly staff and excellent location means this will be my new go to cafe when visiting Hokitika.

It’s Boxing Day, it’s very busy but all staff remained cheerful and friendly. Advised when placing the order there may be a bit of a wait. It wasn’t too long at all. The food was absolutely delicious. Full marks for a totally first rate experience! Value for money too!!!

YUM! We tried here for the first time today and the coffee was good. Ordered a cheese, mushroom, ham omlette & pancakes with bacon, maple syrup, banana. They were both so tasty. Good amount of everything on your plate. Nice and relaxed inside. Staff very polite & friendly. Would eat here again
